Any pics or specs on the new Marker tech binders? Me want to see. Curious if they will use the same hole pattern as the Kingpin???

The "Low Tech Booster" on page 42 is a strong contender for the dumbest product I have ever seen.

haha. I was just about to post about that.
though I did try to make something similar a few years ago for slack laps, before better options were available. Certainly not needed these days.

I think I even saw a video years ago where sam anthamatten had just mounted a regular dyna toe in front of his alpine toepiece.

Rubber band the brake, and it appears the lever folds the thing flat. That is weird.

It's not weird, it's fucking stupid. If I see anyone touring with those I'm punching them and taking their skis. [emoji3]

I would’ve used that d fit booster today. Cat skiing terrain off the hill is a 10-20 minute skin traverse. Doesn’t gain much vert. Lap in lap out

I can also see some purpose in that. Whats the problem? We're all raving about cast?
Just curious how it will affect ski flex when unused under the boot.

For a 10-20min traverse with minimal vert I would just skate/herringbone/sidestep/bootpack and pass you while you're dicking around with skins and rubber bands and boosters and whatever.

So, Dynafit is coming out with pin tech trekkers and Marker is coming out with a "traditional" pin tech binding. What a time to be alive.
    No longer stuck.

Trust me. You wouldn’t. Always Pass a few touron snowboarders boot packing. They might make one lap(usually they cut out early and waste it) and powder so no one herring bones. I like my CAST set up. I’m pretty efficient with my change over routine now so no problem there . On the hill at 10 and 4 2000ft untracked laps. I haven’t but figure it’s possible to do 7 laps. No way you’d hike or herring bone that given the conditions. New CAST is look only. It looks improved in a lot of ways. The d fit toe plates on my version 1 have developed a fair bit of slop but I think I’ll just hack a garage fab plate that’s longer(it’s to short is the wear problem) and I’m not worried about a couple extra mills of height my plate will make. But because the new cast is look I can see having their cast set up or set ups but if they have another binding already on skis, why not have that booster stuck on their incase. A lot of days I like to start with a warm up lap to that cat skiing area(helps my back to warm up first) then finish the day with a lap there to extend the good skiing farther towards the bottom of the hill. Coles notes/it could be good for different areas. Wonder how much they are

Could see that Dynafit useful for us poor saps that have to fly to ski. use with Tyrolia Demo bindings removed from tracks, for weightless up hill. A lot of fiddling though. Shift probably a much better option of us poor saps that fly.

Wonder what the ramp angle is and if they’ll be available in 2018 fall. And if the 2 spring toe is a POS or if it’s kingpin decent.
