    Allow me to distill. Nearly anywhere on the MC pass this year that's both northern and western are going to be busy. Full stop. With all the aforementioned low tide conditions at so many resorts - both on the MC pass and not - those that are will to travel, will. And they will end up at places like Jackson Hole.

    If it were me, I'd find a smaller a resort not on the pass for the weekend. Or, seek out Revelstoke or Sun Valley. The latter has expansive snow making capabilities, so even in drought years, skiing is still possible. Neat town, too. Just don't expect much from the skiing.

    Jackson isn't exactly buried in snow either. The lower faces aren't even open(to tourons like Bunny anyway), at least when I last skied there on X-mas day and they haven't gotten much since.

    thanks I'm re-thinking the whole huge road trip thing, and maybe stay in Canukistain for the US holiday, then do a SV, JH, SLC trip on my MC pass after the long weekend crowds leave....


    and still REALLY hoping for the MILF holiday....
