oh yeah, total spam here and if the TGR overlords zap this post, so be it, but I know a bunch of us already have land cruisers, and I am based in Utah, I thought I would start a Facebook group for Utah based Land Cruiser enthusiasts to facilitate swapping parts, sharing adventures, etc...
    Look it up on facebook...

Of course. You guys have been known to venture over once in a while... To the degree where moab looks like one big Colorado license plate.

    Selling my wife's 80 - https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...-FS-1994-FZJ80

Should we go GX470 or LX470/100 series for the next rig? I'm still keeping mine but 2 80s seems a bit overkill. Here's mine:

been leaning GX due to the small size, lighter weight and better fuel economy.

We had a 120 platform 4runner, and it was a good family truckster.

There's a local one, '95, 240k on the odometer. Owner has it covered in plastidip so hard to evalute the body. Interior is good except for some torn leather. $3,500. If I had time to buy/fix/resell (was going to say "time to flip" but I knew what you guys would do with that) I'd look closer. Someone else (Conundrum?) should: https://boise.craigslist.org/cto/d/1...442058996.html

That things has been on and off Craigslist for 8 months. I wonder if there is something wrong with it.

The plastidipped Cruiser has been on CL for a long time. I think his paint job is killing him or there's something wrong with it. If I were looking to transplant or had a place to park a dead one and rob parts, I'd check this out:

I've emailed and called this guy a few times with no response:

Just because I got some wiring and electrical figured out and my starter rebuilt (Denso parts of course), I thought I would post a few pics of Gari and Winston the trailer here:

If the paint job is killing the sale, I think it would be worth another couple thou even if hte original paint sucks, as long as you take that godawful plastic crap off. So, yeah, probably something else wrong with it.

One of your pics has a falling down log cabin in front of a lake. What lake is that?

Not sure of the name. I’d have to check some maps. It’s about 12 miles east of the highway north of Ketchum. The last nine will challenge a vehicle.

That’s the one. It’s kind of a fight club place for me but I think the the word is out already. Really peaceful place to camp in the evenings once all the Texas wheelchairs are gone back to their cozy travel trailers by the highway.

Nice. Hit me up if you ever head that way. There’s another few cool places I want to go checkout it the area that I haven’t been yet.

LS and Conundrum; those are some tasty, tasty rigs. It's making me miss my 100 and 80 and 40. All terrific rigs in their own right.

Locked up the diff and axles after I picked up the kitchen staff off the side of the road at 4:30am. I was doing just fine until I stopped, truck just slid sideways in hi. Any more days like this and I might be shopping for a set of studded tires. Once I got some momentum I unlocked the axles and did just fine up the switchbacks.

I know it's a fantasy, but it's too bad they didn't bring the 105 series into the states. There's a lhd 105 series manual trannie for sale in Mongolia on the mud site. Apparently, it's not old enough to easily import.

Jackattack, im not sure what tires you're using, but there's a semi active thread on this forum that's partially focused on snowflaked-rated AT tires.
