Yeah, I know where you're coming from, and agree that the whole back and forth gets old and doesn't seem terribly productive 'cuz neither side looks likely to back down anytime soon. It engenders the predictable tedium of any online argument.

But perhaps it serves a larger purpose in that maybe, just maybe, some posters who are not directly involved in the back and forth might take a little more thought and show a little more consideration when posting whatever the fuck it is they wanna post. Perhaps that's overestimating how things could work out, but might be worth considering.

Also, why is it ok for several posters to make jokes attempting to bring up this topic while I make an honest explanation of my opinion of why another woman might have felt a certain way and it's a problem?

That is false and seriously problematic, and it's compounded by the fact that you do not speak for all women on this or any topic, but seem to think that you do.
