    - these are stout but not I beams
    - hand flex stiffer than my flex 4 MAP +carbon protests. Never owned flex 5 praxis to compare but noticeably stiffer than my flex 4s
-measure true tip to tip at 193
    - mount point looks just shy of 106cm straight pull from tip
    - slightly less tip rocker than I was expecting. ~44cm
    - reduced tail rocker still substantial. Very similar length and slightly more splay than my protests

SS, that has to be one of the best 2 big ski POW quivers I have ever seen... 196 Screaming Bear Protests and 193 SGs - nicely done and congrats... To me they honestly complement each other...!

Thanks UT. We shall see. i almost didn't pull trigger on SGs simply because i love my Protests so much.

I currently envision starting deep days off on Protests and lunchtime tag team style tap in of SGs. Def a 1st world problem that I'm damn lucky to have.

Even though my quiver is out of control I think I finally have the best 2 ski/travel quiver for my tastes...

^^ Agreed. And the Wren 108 is now my all time favorite one ski quiver to travel with. So far I've skied it in spring slush, a foot of powder, and groomers / chalky off-piste and I've been stoked with them in all conditions.

Yeah. That looks like the rocker profile I love the most.

    Everyone is happy!

My immediate reaction is that they feel less substantial than I feared they would. I had a hard time making up my mind between the SG vs the BG. Now that I am finally seeing them in person, I know I made the right decision. (Just like you told me... )

We have had awesome conditions the last few weeks, but unfortunately it started raining a lot a few days ago; no immediate SG testing. Will report back later.

powtron ... have you seen any pics of the garnet skis? I'm lusting over that color. Had it been an option when I ordered by BGs it would have been a no brainer.
