You probably wouldn't catch Alonso at a Taco Bell.
Dixon, Franchitti robbed at gunpoint at Taco Bell
Not sure how much it helps them. I suspect the people in the high rise hotels and yachts are more likely to buy a McLaren then the yahoos at the brick yard. Drunken Brits watching from the hillside excepted.

Think it's for the sponsors benefit primarily... "We're doing really badly in F1 so we'll put your stickers on Alonso's Indy car for free"
Although Yesterday McLaren did yesterday suggest possibility of having a full time indycar program next year. In reality that's just them paying Andretti to run a Dallara/Honda for them.
Fun day of racing. Monaco and Indy 500 back to back makes for a good day to watch racing. From watching how hard Vettel raced after Kimi pitted to watching Scott Dixon walk away after that massive crash it was a great day for a race fan. I was disappointed to seeing Kimi lose the lead and see Alonso retire due to engine failure at Indy, but cool to see Haas do well in F1.
jesus i didn't realize helio drove under dixon. unbelievable nobody got hurt.

Robert Kubica tests F1 car again six years after horror rally crash
Over 100 laps in 2012 car on Pole's first test since 2011

If the shocker don't rock her, then Dr. Spock her. Dad.
Wandered over to NBCSP to see what is going on after seeing this ^. What a clown fest between Vettel and Hamilton.![]()

Nice racing and a plenty of luck for Bottas to go from last and a lap down to second place. Another shitty end for Verstappen.
Hungaroring test day 2
1) Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) 1m17.124s
2) Lando Norris (McLaren) + 0.261s
3) Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) +0.718s
4) Robert Kubica (Renault) +1.448s
Kubica only 2/10s off Hulkenburg's gap to Vettel from qualifying at weekend. Way faster than Palmer. First time in current generation of cars, 140 laps. Mighty impressive. Please Renault put him in Palmer's car for Spa.
17 year old Lando Norris will have attracted some attention with that time as well..
I see Kimi Raikkonen signed with Ferrari for 2018. I kind of expected them to look to someone else. Maybe they're waiting for Max Verstappen's contract to end.
KIMI !!!

Great race today. Hell of a drive by Hamilton to fend off Vettel on new ultrasofts after the caution

Two seconds separating the top nine including two McLarens! If I'm Ricciardo I'm probably feeling pretty good about my chances for a win.
Just happened to tune in for the warm up lap and caught the shitshow start. What a mess, sucks for Ferrari. Less than two seconds for the first crash is a possible record.

In those conditions at that track is it possible to start the race under the safety car. Maybe standing start but skip every third or fourth grid position back one?
Alonso commits to that great start but he should know there were issues on the left. Maybe he needs a spotter.
Bump.....
lots been going on recently. That start in Singapore, Ferrari's problems in Malaysia, Mercedes problems in Malaysia, Max's dominant win, Honda to Toro Rosso and ultimately to Red Bull, Renault to McLaren, Alonso still not signed, Sainz to Renault but only on loan, Gasly in for Kvyat, Kubica in head to head test against DeResta for Massa's Williams seat.
And then today I see that ESPN/ABC/Disney have purchased US broadcasting rights....... I fear that David Hobbs might not be part of Sunday mornings next year.
Strange days indeed.
Not sure what Hamilton did to win poll after so many marginal practice sessions, must have dialed the MAP up to eleven, didn't blow up the car and dialed it back to race. Vettel drove the wheels off, but at what cost? May have to take some grid spot penalties if he was to hard on the car.
Definitely musical (car) chairs for the next few weeks. Also, where will Massa be next season? Indy car might get some new talent.

I started watching F1 last year because Haas started a team.
How fucked up can a year get when you're struggling, then a drain grate takes out your car in practice
