FS: 2016 Santa Cruz Nomad CC "best of Everything" build

This is truly a best-of-everything build. It was a frame-up build and every component was picked as the best available with no regard to price. As a bike shop owner, I won't get rich but I can at least have a badazz bike
The overall build price came out to just under $11,000. The bike completely lived up to very high expectations. It performs amazing. Picking a line is really unnecessary as it blows through any terrain. It has the typical scrapes and chips but is perfect, function wise. Has frame protection sheeting at all the important sections.

2016 Nomad Carbon CC frame Size Large.
Rockshox Lyric 170mm
Fox Float X2 w/ 2 pos climb switch. Phenomenal shock. Great on DH but pedals tremendously.
Sram XX1 11sp with Wolf Tooth 44T big cog and RaceFace 28T chainring.
Sram XX1 Cranks/Shifter
XTR brakes with IceTech Rotors 203/180.
Gravityworx 40mm Carbon Freeride Rims (amazing product) mounted to Chris King hubs with Sapim Spokes. These rims have 4mm wide sidewalls with laid in kevlar to protect against hits. They are truly awesome.

Breakouts are pretty high volume, especially when you mount them on a 40mm wide rim.

Yeah, Roxtar you should run that cable against the TT's underside. Zipped to the shock is...I don't know... how did you arrive at that?

A cleaner cable routing will improve your Curb Appeal!

I did.
This series Nomad CC, 2016-2017: Prices range from $7200 for top build-$4000 for basic low end build. One guy wants wants $7900 for a build that isn't near as nice.

Never snagged. It actually runs very tight on the side. I added the flexy noodle to the front to protect it in a bar twisting crash.
Santa Cruz made no provision for external post cable routing (no cable tie mounts under the top tube) It has internal post routing.
I love the Fox DOSS because of the three position but it only comes in external routing. The middle position is perfect for 80% of what I use it for. It gets the saddle out of the way but is still OK for pedalling. Everyone has gone to the infinite travel which forces me to "find" that perfect position.

Yes it does. Hence the shift cable entering/exiting the downtube. It also has internal dropper routing.

And people still use grip shift?

No, they only make it in top-of-the-line XX1 for grins.
Yes, I love twisties because 1) they work perfectly. 2) I like the ability to drop or gain all 11 gears at once.

yeah junior was in the exact same positon with a Nomad last season

workin at a shop, so riding a loaded up a nomad with a bunch of cool parts, over 12 K in cancuk bucks into the bike

stripped it down to stock, got 4k for the Nomad sold the rest and bought a Yeti 5.5
