    Ok, that was good.
And this whole streak thing is getting boring. ChiSox & Detroit slayers. Impressive nonetheless, just less exciting since they are assured a playoff spot.

You play who's on the schedule. They won back to back double headers in there, went 11-0 on the road trip, swept the Yankees in NYC, they've been blowing out the competition by an average of almost 6 runs a game, the starters era is a mind blowing 1.6ish, you saw something that hasn't happened since 1935!

To quote Ferris, "this one goes out to Skiball, who thinks he hasn't seen anything good today".

Lifelong Tribe fan. As evidenced by every MLB thread here ever.

Braves are my in town team (well, kinda since they decided to move outside the Perimeter) and I like baseball so I keep up with em.

Well thank you for that. Always like a shout out. I haven't had time to pay much attention to baseball let alone watch it, so maybe just not caught up in the frenzy. I am a Sox fan at heart, and I don't really think they have the horses to make it all the way this year. That said (and I have said this before), as a Sox fan, I think they treated Francona poorly on the way out and always have love for him. So, unless the Rockies find some magic, I am hoping Terry wins it all. I don't hate, I just haven't had much time to appreciate.

The tribe was the better team last year and they came one drone accident away to Bauer from running away with the WS.

What they are doing this year is no surprise, and now Miller is back too. Playoffs should be fun

Oh I didn't take it as "hate" at all, just having some fun. For a baseball fan this has been incredibly awesome to witness.

Its still bizarre to me that they took the World Series to extra innings in game 7 on 2 1/2 starting pitchers: Kluber every third day, Tomlin every third day, and up until his drone incident, Bauer, only to be replaced by a duo of AAA pitchers.

I don't hate much of anything. I loathe some people/institutions though. Roll Terry!

So close. There's still hope for the average fan, though. Lose, Cleveland, lose! Come ON, you can do it!

    Yeesh.

I just figure they're setting you guys up for the worst disappointment ever in the playoffs.

    Haters gonna hate

22 in a row! Major League record!!!!

The first walk-off win of the longest winning streak in history!

First game of this incredible run that's been a nail-biter, just amazing.

I'm appreciating this for what it is and nothing more. A postseason series has nothing to do with this historic run, and vice versa.

This guy agrees with me, the Indians have underperformed: https://fivethirtyeight.com/features...espn:frontpage

Judge had another two home runs tonight. Maybe the Indians get bored of winning and run into a hot hitting Baby Bomber squad with Severino, Tanaka and a bullpen that lives up to it's marquee in the first round? Still wouldn't mind if they could trade places with the Red Sox though.

A win streak is not the same as a streak without a loss in this dentist's opinion.

epsn's mike and mike actually covered it.

the second game of a double header was rained out in the 8th, but made up in its entirety the next day, so I think its a legit 26 game streak.

I hate it as I like the tribe, but it seems legit.

That's the first I've heard that the Giant's game was made up despite ending in a tie. So it's a second bite at the apple? What?

Ehh...Nelson Cruz hit his 33rd hr, hitting my season over so it's all good! Need another win from Marcus Stroman and the rays to shit the bed (under 78) and I'll hit em all.
