Revelstoke initiation. In Newfoundland they get "screeched in"(kiss a cod and have a shooter of screech). Here it's the "sour finger cocktail" by way of a Harley chain. Pales in comparison to those mutants in Golden though. I think they call it the "fireman shotgun". They use an old ten speed with the bars turned up and a rusty chain. Back when I spent all my time on Motorcycle Forums (before TGR took over my life) I read all kind of horror stories about guys getting their fingers ripped off cleaning their motorcycle chains. Never try to clean your chain with the motorcycle on a stand with the bike running in gear . Even at idol and clicked into first gear there more than enough power to rip your finger(s) clean off.

Never try to clean your chain with the motorcycle on a stand with the bike running in gear . Even at idol and clicked into first gear there more than enough power to rip your finger(s) clean off.

Had a roommate that sold his bike and helped the guy load it in the back of his pickup. Roommate had the back wheel.

Put the bike in...pushed it fwd and....cut his finger clean off as it got caught in the chain and rolled thru the sproket.

Put his finger in bag of ice and brought him to the ER Dude was mother fucking everyone in sight until they gave him morphine.

He was back at work in a couple days.
