oh man. I didn't think anyone would actually watch that, it's horrible. Sorry. But how could you keep watching? The guy dives onto his back like 200 times, that's all there is.

FIFY.
Don't see why this will go the distance. I totally believe McGregor is going to push all his chips in early. Either he knocks out Floyd in 15 minutes or he is spent by the sixth round. I don't think McGregor is afraid of losing. Everyone is already saying he'll lose, so where's the downside to taking a big risk? Losing to Diaz didn't hurt McGregor's marketability or his earning power. Frankly, his fans reward him for his willingness to take big risks, talk a big game and make a big ass of himself. You know what would hurt McGregor's rep? Dancing around for 12 rounds. I'm sure the next two months will be an endless stream of shit talk from McGregor about how Floyd is 10% fighter and 90% illiterate ballerina, spewed in the hopes that he'll anger Floyd into proving his manhood. Hell, he'll drop his hands and start clowning on Floyd to lure him in.
Mayweather is the king but he's an old king in his twilight getting into the ring with a younger, stronger man in his prime who's basically got nothing to lose. If Mac gets finished, he'll just say: "Wit' me, ya got yer fookin' money's worth. Ya saw a damn fight an' not two grown men dancin' around wit' each others like Mayweather an' Paquiao did." Then he'll go buy a diamond encrusted Bentley and his fans won't care that he lost.

How much of McGregor's share is Dana White getting?
Line down to Mayweather -700 McGregor +500
early action on McGregor unsurprisingly
i have only caught a few highlights but the press stuff for this fight is a total embarrassment on both sides. the fight is a gimmick and to make it a total clownshow macgregor would get lucky and win. i didn't give much of a shit about either of them prior but the conferences make them both total idiots.
Fighting gone Reality TV.

Brain dead and made of money.
Will not support. Let me know who wins...and link me the highlights.
Have a buddy completely convinced McGregor can (and will, I guess) win this thing. I just forwarded this thread to him a few days ago to show him he's not alone in his delusion.
At the least I think it may be entertaining. Will it be on Showtime or HBO the day after the PPV?

This fight is about as real as a WWF match w Hulk Hogan. So, in that sense it's plausible CM might be the winner. Follow the money.
this fight is gonna suck !!!!!!!
i bet 100$ (cost of fight in HD) that mcgregor sought out mayweather, as tghey both reside in vegas, and the two camps colluded to make fight a reality

Im telling you, go a few rounds then McGregor should land a shin kick straight. He will be disqualified but knocking Floyd out would be worth it and better than the alternative. Wonder if that would effect his payday?

Given the negotiations regarding glove size and such, it might be the case that this contingency (McGregor kicking Mayweather in the head) has been dealt with contractually. In other words, should Conor do something outside of the rules of boxing, his slice of the financial pie would be greatly reduced. I'm just speculating here but Mayweather and his team sure seem to be pretty shrewd.
I'm not sure Conor would do that anyway. Despite his brashness he has proven himself to be a fair fighter and a classy guy after the fight is over (in both victory and defeat). But man, wouldn't it be something to see McGregor land a wheel kick to Mayweather's temple.
DOWN GOES MAYWEATHAH!!! (3x)
I was hoping for a 2 fight deal, 1 with each set of rules (or something of the sort). Maybe a K1/San Shou but no ground game or a ground clock for the 'mma' version.
Floyd SHOULD win this from a rules perspective.
I'd never count McGregor out of a fight of any sort though.
$100 for the pay per view is nuts...

Fukt: a very small amount of snow.
Sugar Day vs. Marvelous Marvin. Hagler beat Leonard, Leonard won on points. Will be a rerun of same.
One of the best rounds in any fight:
Being from Boston, I was a big Haggler fan at the time. Thought he would send Leonard to the hospital in short order, but Leonard won the fight fair and square. No doubt Haggler was bigger and stronger and did more work, but Leonard controlled the ring. He did more damage with less effort. And drove Haggler to drink and cocaine in the process.
