Otherwise...beat it kook. Go clog up some other mountain's equivalent KT line
We're shooting a geriatric porn flick, if you must know... Hence the need for copious amounts of skiing during the day.

Sorry too late for buddy tix - margaritas last night...
Lots of laps on KT-22 and Olympic Lady. Chute 75 was pretty nice but was getting icy in spots towards the end of the day. Found some nice wind deposit on Red Dog Ridge and some great beta (thanks Sam!) I'm considering Sugarbowl tomorrow: seems like it might be better there if snowy and windy, unless anyone has a better suggestion? (Assuming I can still move: It's off to the hottub for me.)

Damn, that looks awesome. 10/10 would bang.

So I'm out of town but texting my friend who went to Squaw yesterday. I joked that they call it KT-22 because it stands for Killing Time for 22 minutes. His response: "They may need to rename it KT-66." Ouch. Poor guy would have been happy doing laps on Roundhouse... if it was spinning.

I just got back from a couple days out there. The top of 4 at KW was white out Thursday. We didn't even bother with The Wall. Wind holds on Friday were everywhere. Heavenly on Saturday was great. They had to dig out the evenings snow on Stagecoach Saturday morning. (tips up). The wind blowing off the summit this afternoon foretold of the coming dump. Another 1-4' above 6K. Oh to be local. Have Fun!

Either 6 or 10 was open all day on Friday at KW. 10 ran from 10:45/3:00 continuously.

Oh well. I can only imagine it was a little damp. We did get up 6 on Thursday for Zachary and Sentinel. I guess I was just too wimpy on Friday.

Wow...this storm literally split in half right over Tahoe. Here's hoping it builds up behind.

Ha, AC said you were probably kicking your own ass heading out the road when the winds calmed and the sun came out, nice surprise after low vis, snowing at times climb.

Splat I have not timed it in a while, I think 3 hours is average

I was planning on doing some storm skinning today, but listening to the wind at my house I realized I'd need to be skinning with goggles on. Looks like a good week to get some work done and hit the climbing gym.

The KT line was bad, but not brutal on Sunday.

I went out after noon and still got 16 laps.

Probably my best laps of the year.
    Still waiting...

As my wife said, the Super Bowl should be every weekend during ski season.

Tom's was great. Chute 75 was as smooth as I've ever seen it. Everyone disappeared at noon.

I was able to drive up early friday am with my two boys(15 and 12 - little rippers) 6 ran until a little before noon(windy and low vis at the top!), and we had three solid runs on that. Then moved over to 10...braille skiing for the first third, so ended up just running laps on eleven which was plenty fun low incline trees...snowed all day, decent quality even, by no means "wet snow"...

I got skunked at spur gate. I knew better when caltrans said closed for snow. Busy weekend and not much staff Monday I'm sure. Finally opened but I couldn't wait. Oh well. Rookie mistake and I'm a veteran.

88 headed from south lake was closed at least for awhile, that's what the sign said at the 89/50 intersection due to heavy snow. I imagine it was a total whiteout up there with the winds.

That was for a wreck. No caltrans vehicles out. It was single track to the spur. I knew it wasn't going to open when the road was like this. I get it. It's been a long two weeks and those guys want to watch some football. Not one caltrans vehicle at the spur gate for three hours.

Must of been a bad crash, my buddy is stuck at the moment at the top of Carson pass trying to get back to south lake due to an accident . I saw the road closed sign at 10:30am, sounds like a CHP is even stuck out there
