All 918s are 2015, not 2010. 845k was base price, and most came in at 1M.
They are now about 500k over MSRP.
I've seen that particular one in person at Stevinson Imports.

Brain dead and made of money.
That grey and (acid?) green is a killer color combo for the car.
Yup.
Saw one of the coolest car displays in a long time: Was driving by the Porsche Dealer and they had an Arctic Silver Carerra GT right next to a Silver 918. Couple million bucks worth of cars just waiting to be admired. /drool.

That's a really cool shot I missed somewhere up-thread.
No shortage of articles about Cayennes being used as proper off road vehicles, maybe not rock crawlers, but no different than stock Rovers and LX's and holding their own just fine.
Oh, and many came with a stick!

True, I had fun watching a couple cayenne off road video today, but with the wheels and tires they put on them, you re never going to go 140mph. So you are back to a compromised vehicle. Not as good off road as a real suv, and not as much fun to drive as a sports car. For the record, the Lexus lx models are typically based on a land cruiser platform.

No question, I'm in possession of my family's old LX 470 which is now relegated to life in Low Country and the roughest it sees is deep sand and salt air. (as opposed to salt roads and Lake Erie winters) I'm just impressed at what these vids show they Cayenne is capable of when the low pro wheels and whatnot are stripped off.![]()

Hey man, haters gonna hate. I don't like hardly any of the Euro suvs. Clearly I am a BMW and Porsche fan, but cayenne, x5, audi suv, etc.... No thanks.

I'm sure this has been mentioned already, but ...
993 twin turbo
We tried the X5 3! times to no avail, so I'm with you. Electrical gremlins abound. All were tanks in the snow, most notably the e53, but even when we moved south the problems were too much to live with.
Turn on the blinkers, radio goes out.
Turn on the stereo, lights go out.
Drive 6 months worth of miles from the dealer with a brand new '14 example and it goes into gimp mode in traffic.![]()
Too much. When they work they're great, and I'm a huge Bm fan. Just not of this model after being burnt so many times.
After putting the wife in a Volvo I don't see going back to a German SUV again anytime soon.

Well for what it is worth, looks like my compressor job on the wife's 5 series self leveling suspension is holding up. See how long that lasts.

$170,000, and it's yours:

993TT = near perfection. Saw a clean black/black one in storage this summer, impressive car. The rear is a work of art, big brakes, turbos, fenders, wheels, etc.

Hey Beer Drinker, about 15 years ago I went to a car show and there was a track car there that my dad almost picked up. I think it was the Celica GT or something, but it was a purpose built race car with a Corvette mid-engine I believe. That ring a bell? Those worth anything these days? I think the msrp was something like $70k.

Good shots.
Golden era of Trans Am. Although the late '90s were pretty good too. What's the background on these, refried?
