Yeah, those things are trash. Decay alone is a double digit % headwind every month.

Even with the pitfalls, abandoning a popular product with trade volumes over 18M seems weird.

nat gas...FKNA! Drawdowns in supply the last 2 weeks, not sure if the somewhat colder weather the last few days has leveraged that

Donald sends a tweet about the Yuan, and the dollar moves? I need Donald to tweet about my house! It's really amazing, just the best. Just an incredibly, awesome house.

No. Reversal started at 11pm last night on Euro open. Yuan is pegged to the dollar anyway.

The Shanghai Composite did have a pretty good selloff probably related to the comments.

German DAX has a breakout on the daily and weekly chart after a long sidewise consolidation range. Technically can go considerably higher.

Anyone trade Novartis, the drug company?

    McDermott is killing it.

Seems like it might be a good price to buy and hold for awhile, plus pays a dividend. I have a friend that works there and is doing really cool research. Pinged him to see what he thinks about future.

Yea, 3% dividend. Not bad. Seems like the value is there.

Pharma on the downswing from crowded trade-ville. I've seen good setups in gild and others but sector-wise I'm avoiding ph. Afraid the election bounce will be a dead cat.

Twtr looking good. GT, POT as well. Latter are hopefully going yo be actual long term holds (6mo-1yr+).

Is the stock market going to tank?

    Dollar index looking toppy.

Edit: Dollar index is down 2% from its high. The interesting part is it made its monthly high on Thanksgiving. It's not unusual for currency to stretch its range on major holidays. Happens all the time. 4th July is notorious for USD volatility.

Is DOW going to hit 20K before Donald takes the oath?

A significant peak to benchmark President Obama's remarkable bull market run is possible. Especially with ECB and Fed one week apart.

I would put Yellen turning more hawkish as a big risk.

For some reason I don't think Yellen turning hawkish is that big a deal, namely because I don't see the Fed being overly aggressive. They appear to be too wishy washy these days to make any kind of definitive statement.

The bigger risk is Trump's twitter account. It appears to move stocks when he mentions them. Don't recall past POTUS's calling out companies like Trump does.

I can only imagine how feverishly people are building algorithms which try to decipher his tweets and then make High frequency trades based on them.

Let's hope nobody tells Drumpf that the president has un-turn-offable emergency alert messaging to directly communicate with all cell phones.
