Do we go 20K before the end of 2017, or does it end badly and we spiral down to sub 15K instead?

Trillion doll hairs question right there.

@4M- any thoughts on the broader indices going through a value shift up instead of a long running bull mkt? I see the potential there in the S&P but certainly acknowledge that's not normal macro behavior.

just means consolidation here and below, not another multi year breakout

One of the bigger divergence between fundamentals and technicals I've seen. I suspect it's a revaluation to a higher multiple (which I have suspected for a while but not for the same reasons). A lot of big sticks are breaking out of long term reverse head and shoulders.

Most of the price action is due to tax implications and that can run a long time.

I saw some price action that led me to believe a big breakout was about to happen.

Today. The telcos had big 2% moves. That tells me rates are going to stabilize soon.

My strategy in the days/weeks ahead is sell junk and buy treasury in my bind portion.

I'm overweight emerging and international large cap because I don't think we were going to get this tabulation in USA yet. So in that respect I'm sidewise to current trends. I also expect the Dax to really break out and move higher if US stays strong. I'm

Unlikely. The pressure is on shorts to cover in thin trade at all time highs. Futures trying to make another ATH tonight. Seasonally this is one of the strongest weeks of the year.

Thinking of picking up some McDermott Inernational, MDR, little late to the party but seems like it should go for a while. Anyone have experience?

Did a little work on McDermott a couple years ago, small o&g servicer focused on deepwater and non conventional. Real tied to oil price similar to small e&p's. I've got nothing else for ya. Now that's its popped a bit price-wise, whats the attraction?

You don't need to be an insider to see that Twitter is failing. Trump is basically the only Twitter user at this point.

I don't see what the attraction is from a user standpoint. Just about everyone I know stopped using it a long time ago.

Twitter bought some monetization tech several years ago (MoPub), but haven't been able to turn the corner and be successful with it.

Twitter doesn't have good user info like Facebook, they don't control major areas of the internet like Google. Twitter is full of bots and fake users. Why the hell would anyone pay to advertise on Twitter?

If they can't monetize, they die. I think they'll die.

I see no reason to be worried about twtr given historical insider sales :O

If it fails in the 18/17 area I'll probably cut and rebuy. Gotta respect price.
