Why does a strong dollar chap a deplorable? Is I because they are so flush with gold and guns? Just curious

Yeah. Richard Petty hocking gold coins. Fox News and the conservative news sites are all loaded with gold ads.

A strong dollar does help prices at Walmart but Trump will fix that with tariffs. Treasury has repeatedly investigated and says China is not a currency manipulator (it isn't) but Don knows more about it I'm sure.

Under 1.05 by year end. Fed hasn't even actually hiked yet. Japan also likely to extend another shot of QE when Fed hikes as well (better bang for the buck). Jpy usd 115+ by Jan 15th

Spread between junk and treasury continues to narrow. Not sure why junk is holding up so well.

Look ticketchecker, if you're not inside you are outside. Now what's the story on this company?

Im so lost right now with bonds imploding and equities hitting ATHs. Saw some rotation in bonds. Hoping to sell rotation up in the euro to fade into spring. Same with long dated treasuries.

Rabbit from arse story is that we're in the parabolic up to close the post 09 bull market. Could be 9 months or 1, no idea. Bond flight, equity spike, peak euphoria, then rug pull.

Twtr looking good on the hourly chart. More bids than asks.

UNFI on Nasdaq. We're not very interesting but the price had bombed about a year ago and has been flat in the mid to high 30's for awhile now. I'm not a market guy, just watch my own shit

Well, worked for him, but still a pretty shitty company. One can imagine the scenario of his children in charge of his "blind trust" (hardee har har) buying it so that daddy can still communicate with the masses in such a smart, sophisticated way.

Hey how would you guys invest in drones (hardware and/or software) ? Are there specific companies or funds that any of you like?

LMT, NOC & BA should all benefit for Donald's militaristic agenda.

Of course, nobody can really know, but, Trump seems to be the least "militaristic" presidents we have had for a while, and certainly less of a warmonger than HRC. I'm guessing that what he wants to do is divert that budget to infrastructure. We'll see, still means a deficit growing if he does the tax cuts.

I'd rather do something more focused, like Airware or DJI, rather than somethng like LMT where they have so much other stuff going on. Plus as Benny alludes to I'm not positive the military is going to get what they want in this administration.

What about this from his 100 day plan?:

Restoring National Security Act. Rebuilds our military by eliminating the defense sequester and expanding military investment

Oh, yeah, and then there's the wall and deportation of 3 million people. How about abolishing Obamacare?

Campaign over. He's not King, after all, although he probably would love that.
