Westworld: Jack the Ripper and Isaac Asimov re-write Deadwood, in a rather complicated fashion.

'Designated Survivor' has started well, 'Secrets & Lies' too.

    'Quarry' is excellent.

    I'm enjoying Son or Zorn.
Mrs. Dougw- "I can see how one of your relatives could have been killed by an angry mob."

West world is headed off to a good start.

Life Is Good on prime time is pretty good, sort of the Parenthood replacement show.

Sort of a Harry Potter meets Amadeus meets Masterpiece Theater? Miniseries, only 7 hours.
    Good series; recommended.

We just started "Penny Dreadfull"; totally hooked after the first one. A mash-up of Frankenstein, Dorian Grey, Dracula, and more, all set in Victorian London. Strong cast, lots of blood and mystery.

He's back! With Lee Fuckin' Majors joining the cast to play Ash's dad, a totally cantankerous lech, of course.

Caught the first two episodes of Goliath on Amazon last night: uneven and clumsy at times, plus predictable ..... except the MF endings of each episode - I stood up and clapped.

    UK Shows

    The Fall Series 3
    The Missing Series 2

Watched the first episode of 'Divorce' under duress for about 5 minutes. Couldn't stand 'Sex in the City', thought this was going to be the same. How wrong I was. Hilarious. Belly laugh, spit out your drink at times.

    Hooked.

Glitch on Netflix: a little thick on the drama, and not the fastest paced show ever, but quite good. Horror/SyFi/mystery (lite on the horror/scifi so far, but expecting big changes after 3 or 4 episodes).

Just finished a four season binge of Ray Donovan. What a great show! Is there more to come or are those four seasons all she wrote? Don't know how I didn't find that until recently.

Since then been Enjoying Netflix's "Wallander" and "The Fall". Both sort of euro-dark, slow moving whodunnits with damaged and difficult lead characters, unpredictable but engaging story lines and well developed characters. Kenneth Branagh and Gillian Anderson star, respectively.

i just finished up season 3 of peaky blinders. absolutely fantastic if you can overlook the fact that it's a rip off of sons of anarchy.

looking for a new comedy series now.

If you like the English version of Wallander, there is also a Swedish version (with subtitles) that is worth watching. Great series, both of them.

More like a rip off of Guy Ritchie. It's a tad too self-conscious and it's highly stylized and non-realistic. I'd give it a solid B+ for its looks and action but, imho, PB is long on style and short on substance.

I just watched the first season (and episode 1 of Season 2) of Broadchurch; it's pretty great...although, it's tough to watch.

A number of times I thought: why the hell am I watching something so stressful for????
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.
