Only the first one is the 6D. I took some more this afternoon with it:

I like it so far, but I think I have to learn it a bit better to really get going with it.

    Right? Questionable.

Everything tonight went south for some reason.
Currently sitting at a bar I never been in lower Chelsea, drinking Montauk Blonde Ale and eating potato Tempura.
This place doesn't even have a TV to watch Mets game and everybody's way too dressed up.
    Me, in sweaty workout outfits.
    What is going on???

Took a trip to the Japanese Gardens today. Still a couple weeks away from full fall colors, so I'll probably try to rebate this soon.

I had this guy land on my chest yesterday. Hard to tell from the picture, but its body was probably 6-7" long.

    IMG_0327 by AJD, on Flickr

Out of instinct I almost flattened it before I could tell what it was. It chilled out for a couple seconds then took off and landed in a field. About 10 minutes later it came floating down the middle of the stream. Seemed out of place (if they can swim, I'd be learning something), so I grabbed the stick and rescued it. Made my day.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

    Thank you very much nutmeg..

That is 2 1/2 photos stitched, as a Brenizer pano. The "original" stitched tiff file trails off much further to the right. That put the dudes too far left but a square crop made them more balanced. But yeah, the dudes themselves are a single frame at f/2.2 (I believe?), 85mm.

We ended up buying a home next to long time friends. In fact, I lived with the chick in this house (as a roommate) and her husband was one of my two groomsmen. We couldn't believe when we saw it for sale.

They have two kids; the dude in the overalls is their boy. The dude in the shorts is mine. These guys were in the backyard hanging out but neither could come over to play because overall's dad just had shoulder surgery and didn't want he chaos that came with the kids all playing. My wife was asleep with our new daughter and I didn't want that business either.

So these dudes climbed the old horse fence between the houses and sat on the top hanging out for 45 minutes until we gave them the all clear to come play. This shot is another Brenizer stitch.

Give your Dad's a big hug next time you see them. I just lost mine and my world is a bit lonelier today.
