Well shit fellas I tell you what two kids are more than twice as loud and destructive as one.

My niece is "settling in" just fine after her long travel day yesterday.

Yup. Thing#2 season edit. Being the humble lad he is he left out the many podiums he occupied and the 3rd place NORAM Champs finish. Look out FWQ 16/17!

Figured this is as good place to post this as anywhere - I bought a look/rossi jig for the junior/team series bindings. So I can mount-their-own-fucking-skis without freehanding it.

Happy to share with anyone who can use it. I'm (just as of 3 weeks ago) in Marin for any bay area mags who want to borrow it, and happy to send it anywhere it can be used, you pay shipping both ways.

    Congratulations Norseman!

My six year old daughter walked up Handies (14,048) in the San Juans last week. Her first 14'er. It is one of the shorter, easier walk ups but still...I have to give my wife all the credit for talking her up. The wife told me to get lost 1/3 of the way up because I am an impatient asshole. We all met up at the top where we spent a long time relaxing and my little girl ended up schooling me on the way down because I am 4.5 months out from acl surgery on my right knee and the knee was complaining enough on the steeper portions that I had to go slow.

Pond skims are great. There's a sweet one that sets up naturally in the spring sometimes at Crystal. All the rage with the chillins... and with the big kids, too.

Astrid's first camping trip wrapped up today. We checked out the beach! She was a champ in the front carrier.
