    Or multiple ones.
He said he paid $160,000 but has turned down $1.2 mil. It only has 18,000 miles on it. The guy inherited a fortune from his father who invented the Little Giant Ladder. The sound that came out of it when he fired that bad boy up was pure magic.

I got to see a guy dyno a 427 at the Mamaronek car show one year. It sounded pretty insane.

That "cobra" looks absolutely beautiful, but at that purchase price I suspect it is a Superformance mk111 : a south african build licensed and endorsed by Carol Shelby personally. They also build a original GT40 licensed by Ford
Scientists now have decisive molecular evidence that humans and chimpanzees once had a common momma and that this lineage had previously split from monkeys.

Superformance licenses the GT40 from a 3 man outfit in Cincinnati called Safir Spares. I'd never normally know this odd bit of info but one of the owners works with my in laws and I was able to pick his brain for a few hours at a party the in-laws hosted. Very interesting story in how they fought for years to secure the rights they legally purchased/registered to the GT40 when Ford simply let it expire (think someone who falls asleep at the wheel on a web domain). Needless to say Ford is not big fans of theirs especially when they went to launch what we all know now as the Ford GT.

Nice wheel/color combo. That thing must have serious grip. Any suspension mods or stock? Either way good stuff.

here's another 2,900lb, ~300hp p-car for some historical perspective. That cayman just has better handling & interior, probably big toe, little toes the same.

note: this dude has some solid vids plus a lap at the newbergring

I didn't think I would ever be a "car guy" after racing motorcycles in the late 90s at Laguna, Sears, and T hill. But the lil cayman has made me a believer. I bought it last fall and spent all winter (in between pow days) repairing and getting ready for track days. It is a daily driver, so has minimal mods: lowered 1" and sway bars. Only two track days so far, so still learning to go fast, but it handles amazing. Can't wait for next track day. I have followed and enjoyed this thread for a while. Thanks

No idea. He told me the car was built in 1967 I think? Don't really remember the exact date, but he said Me Shelby put most of the miles on it himself. I have no way of knowing is this is true, but I do know this guy is extremely wealthy, so he has the means for the purchase.

Y'all see what Brandon Marshall of the Jets just called out to Antonio Brown of the Sqeeelers?

His 991 unmolested GT3 to Brown's tacky as fuck murdered out Rolls (Dawn?) convertible complete with even tackier yellow Squeeelers racing stripes on who gets more yards this year.

Brown replied that the RR is "worth" $100000 more than the Porsche. Not after you made it look like a clown car you classless fuck.

Looks like it's a Series II Phantom, which cost about 480k new. Depreciation is a bitch on those though. Safe to say the value is equal.

With or without the horrendous personal touches. If I was the most flamboyant person in the NFL, the Liberace of wide receivers, I would never drive such a garish piece of shit.

    Keep the GT3, Brandon.

    Car Porn.......beauty meets speed (SFW)

Saw this Carrera Gt on the side of the rd in Jupiter Fl. Old man had a flat. I hit the brakes like it was Elle Mcpherson hitch hiking and helped him out. He threw me the keys and told me to be back in 15 minutes. Guy owned an NBA team. Awesome day.

He just needed air, but was so old he couldnt bend over. Very cool guy, and after reading up on him, a good billionaire they called him the rust belt billionaire. Said he never drove it but once every six months.

No, it's not news. This guy told me there are approximately six real ones in the state. He has one, the other five or six are owned by the Larry Miller family. The dude is a well known local multi millionaire who was coming to the store to get his $80,000 Rolex worked on. I doubt he's driving a fake. Don't let the purchase price I quoted throw you off, that's the part of the conversation I had with him that I remember the least, it could've been a lot more, I don't remember.
