That was fun, and JM has some serious guitar chops.

Weird that they played mostly Jerry songs.

It worked far better than I could have imagined. Sat was better than sun but both were excellent .

I was skeptical of JM even through the first tour. They were playing well but I wasn't completely sold. JM, Oteil and JC are really enjoying playing this music.

The peaks were incredible. Mistakes were expected. This group has it. JM is doing his own thing and the more freedom the core 3 give him and Oteil and JC the better the music will become. I hope this group sticks as long as everyone can play and tour.

^ahh, if I didn't have tics I would have grabbed the two next to you.

I'm in field bx 80 fri and stands 11 on Sat. I thought we had bought a field seat for one day.

Debating on vape or oney. The vape just stays hot for so long. Maybe I'll just roll a few...although this isn't Simsbury, but it is a dead show, right?

    Multiple doobs.

I like to smoke em down to a good size roach, and send them off into the crowd.

I know, but it's Boston. I've always been low key stealthy with the kind. Getting tossed is never a good thing and I've seen it happen too often on east side. Although, the overall tolerance has certainly come a long way...with most.

Glad you enjoyed, getting psyched for Fenway and listening to the Alpine shows today. Sounds better than I remembered them from Worcester last Fall.

Still getting used to JM being in the band, guess I'm a stubborn John K fan.

    Dead and Company.

I am a big fan of JK too! Have to say JM is playing really well. He is into the music. Embracing it. Getting much better at holding back when it's appropriate and then firing up when that time comes. He's not trying to overdue it anymore. The coolest aspect of what JM and Oteil are doing is that both seem to be having a ball! Smiling. Grooving on stage. Weir might be getting his panties in a bundle about it from time to time but it's helping fuel the music.
    Enjoy Fenway!

The Folsom field show said 6:30 too, they were on by 7. If that helps.
