Glad to hear Beandip and Girlski are doing well. They were both at one of Gordy's camps I went to, lots of fun.

Which reminds what are AltaGirl and her husband up to? They were at that camp as well. And Rotorhead? he let some of us crash at his place the night after the camp so we wouldn't get interlodged the next day after a huge dump.

Nope. Discovered the situation, alerted them to it, offered to help and would have, was thanked by phUnk and told he would get the neighbors to deal with it since they were the ones who were supposed to be looking after the dogs in the first place. We felt we had fulfilled our obligations at that point so we split. She is one of those folks who doesn't want kids but thinks of her dogs like they were her kids. In her mind it was probably like we discovered her abandoned child up there covered in feces and walked away.

Appease was a strange way to phrase it... to yield or concede to the belligerent demands of (a nation, group, person, etc.) in a conciliatory effort, sometimes at the expense of justice or other principles.... I thought anyway.

Saw the Altagirls in March. Same, same. Rotorhead is flying a medvac chopper somewhere in the vicinity of Tahoe. He retired from downhill mountain biking after attempting a backflip at Whistler.

All good folks, and it bums me out that I can't get together with them - and a whole lot of the rest the old Utah crew - more often.

I thought Mrs. phUnk was still Ms. phUnk? Either way, despite her intricacies (or maybe because of them), they're pretty much perfect for each other.

It's almost worse the other way round not only do i not understand these kind of references (TV, radio celebs, sports stars, minor politicians etc.. ) no one here understands mine either.. Morecombe & Wise, Terry Wogan, Malcom MacDonald and Enoch Powell... see?
