    Transgender Prisoners Deserve Surgery

    Yes or no?
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Really complicated. The article you linked says male to female surgery costs about 20 g.

The person in question had been doing hormone therapy for over 10 years and was housed in a male facilities and experiencing repeated sexual assults.

    Really, really, really complicated.

Why does the transgender person's comfort trump the comfort of everyone else?
Who decides what comforts are reasonable? What about vegetarians that are uncomfortable around people eating meat? Do they deserve the same consideration? What about those offended by profanity? What about those who are uncomfortable around those of other races? Should we accommodate their perception? Is comfort a right, or something each of us need to create for ourselves?

I quit smoking over 2 years ago and I hate cigarettes now, but I still think it should be up to the owner of an establishment what sort of clientele they want to attract...

Most people these days hate ciggies...

    Governor vetoed it.
