You guys do know that he's fully capable of "artistic license" right? I wouldn't assume all of that footage is authentic but would be happy to be wrong.

I know he spins left, right, and upside down with more ease and style than anyone else.

Oh there are so many edits (more obvious in this one than others) in these segments but FKNA, who cares. The people making this are the shit.

Oh. I agree completely. Testament to that is the fact that people were verbally wondering if this is real ...

i've seen enough of what i know of him that is real that he can take all the artistic license he wants. ever since i saw the clip for candide kamera and him flittering off 80 foot jumps one after another with such amazing grace i've thought he is the most beautiful skier i've ever seen.

It's amazing how the appearance of something can humanize it.

Was reading a bunch of comments on another forum that all boiled down to "That dude's an asshole!"

Bunch of morons. It's a machine, it has no feelings, no emotions. Crash test operators aren't murderers either.

Good thing it's wearing a cup.

But I wonder why it was important to make a robot that can walk like a really drunk guy.

I watched this movie about artificial intelligence a few weeks ago, Ex Machina. Viewers are both told and shown one of the main characters is a machine. Add in a pretty face, some witty repertoire, and a little deceit and it gets easy to forget.

Huh. So that's what that movie was about.

Well there was the whole "Turing Test/Artificial Intelligence" thing too. The robot getting shoved around isn't self-aware.

    Ex Machina was awesome, IMHO.
