I never understood buying a SBR AR either. Just get a AR pistol.

I got $1400 for it converted back to stock, I couldn't say no.
with a scar break it shot pretty well but it wasn't an ar.

It was really solid and I liked it low and out front like that.

Got my mom a P2000 SK in 9 for Chrimus.

Sweet little gun, but too small or me.

PTR91 on the way. Always been an HK fan. May even pick up a parts kit so I have spares.

Yup. HKs are great. They have jumped a bunch in price though. That little gun was expensive. I got it at a shop, because I wanted it right away. Probably paid an extra 50-100 too much.

You are supporting a local bizzness so that is a positive thing.

As much as I wood like to have a real HK they are just to pricey for me. These PTRs have been around for a while now and its a good product made in the USA on HK tools and dies to the same specs.

Plus I fill me .308 gap in the armory.

That is hilarious. The "Frequent Stops" is a nice touch.

Not sure if you guys care but I thought I'd give a shout out to the guys at Defender Outdoors in Fort Worth, Texas. I know they do a lot of internet sales so you guys may have heard of them. Anyhow, spent a weekend with those guys and they are absolutely good peeps, very passionate and intelligent firearm fanatics and extremely knowledgeable. We ended up shooting everything from auto .300WM's to suppressed shotguns, H&K 9mm rifles to AK's and it was a blast.

    Anyhow, they earned my endorsement.

See how that does with holding zero over time. I had a CP2 (slightly different reticle) that held up pretty well for about a year until the reticle started loosing zero every time I moved the rifle.

I'm guessing Leavenworth Skier already knows about this, but I stumbled across it today:

Good coverage on a pretty popular gun blog.

You guys hear that hikock45 got booted off of youtube? What a bummer. I'd do anything to have that guy's range in my backyard.

Edit: Looks like youtube reinstated his account

Yup! We are approaching 1 year of selling the Kenai and things are still growing. We are slowly reaching out to bigger and bigger media sources... I'm sure in a year from now we'll be a in Guns and Ammo type magazine. Baby steps...

As always, if anyone wants a GunfightersINC holster, hit me up for a maggot coupon code.

(also, it's weird to have so many random strangers post pictures of me on the internet.)
