For Colorado folks, Citra IPA from Station 26 is solid.

Stuff is so good. Wish I could drink it more often.
I also agree with those not impressed by Jai Alai. Meh.
While not a true IPA, new brewery in Longmont called Wibby Brewing does a fantastic IPL (India Pale Lager). Comes in at 7.5%. Smells like heaven and goes down smoooooth. Guy knows what he's doing over there.
just picked up a four-pack of Light in the Window from, Burlington Beer
it's technically a RyePA, brewed with Vermont Hops and whatnot
this might be the tastiest beverage i've ever consumed, no nans
oh, and as far as jai-alai goes, they always drop it, just when you think you won some mad cash, so rigged
we used to go to Hartford Jai-Alai back in the 80's, good place to catch a buzz and watch them chuck that ball, at like 120mph. but we never won money
crab in my shoe mouth
I stumbled into an Alpine Brewing Bad Boy IIPA a few days ago. I stumbled away from it too. Sneaky strong, but wholly delicious. I love Pure Hoppiness, and Bad Boy was better. There is still some floating around after SDBW.

Hell yeah, now that's a collab...MMP, hook me up when this one rolls off the line please!
Manage to have a Melvin 2x4 growler smuggled to UT and DAMN! That is the best IIPA I've had outside of New England. Never had any Barley Brown or Younger but it bests anything else I've had out west. Reminds me of a
Double version of Substance from Bissell. Can't wait for the brewery to open this winter. Hot laps from UT will be a regular occurrence.
Big fan of Breakside.
consuming as much as I can over the next few days in Portland ME. I have a bias towards the pale variety but dont hold it against me.
so far:
stoneface IPA - smoother than expected, most surprising thus far
rising tide cutter IPA - nice out of a can
Maine beer Co MO - yes ma'am
Maine Beer Co Lunch - staple
not so east coast:
ballast grapefruit sculpin - gets the girl to drink beer
Get the pretzel @ the Maine Brewing company- like 2 meals!!!
I have not yet on this trip. I put my time in there last year and it is well worth the time. I'll put a few hours on a stool tomorrow.
I also need to check this thread soon cause I have no idea who brews good beer over here. Maine beer co is really all I know I like.
adding:
Baxter Stoweaway - super west coast. feels like home.
peaks organic - meh. little bitter and plain for me
Baxter pale - consistent. no complaints; nothing amazing but I could drink it all night
Great north aleworks ipa, 7% and having been canned 6 weeks ago really smoothe finish.
Dude
Bissell Brothers - Substance and Swish
Banded Horn
Foundation - Epiphany
Swish and Epiphany are world class, they should blow your mind. You might need to go to the breweries (they literally share a wall) and wait in line to get it but it's well worth it. They rarely make it to liquor stores but you might be able to find it on tap. They usually Have some awesome food trucks in the parking lot while everyone waits in line.
Lunch is the best Maine Beer co beer you can get on a regular basis. A lot of places should have it on tap if it's out right now.
Go to Duck Fat for lunch and Honey Paw for dinner. Had one of the best meals of my life at the Honey Paw.
Grab a donut from the Holy Donut if you want to be bummed about every donut you ever eat for the rest of your life. They're made from mashed potatoes and are unreal. I think I ate 4 in one sitting.
Thanksgiving beer selection was hillfarmstead's Susan, Conduct of life, Abner and Double galaxy. Didn't Even break into the Solitude&society #5, Munteuka single hop, or most intriguingly, the Solitude&madness #1, a Ephraim Imperial IPA oak barrel-aged and dry-hopped

I appreciate you taking the time to write that. duck fat was on the radar but I am truly winging it on the beer choices. holy donut is on another level. I will report back with my findings [only if they agree with yours, of course].
I'm hammered. Happy Thanksgiving ya fools!
