Fack, that's what I was afraid of. We have a camp site reserved in the park this weekend, but thinking I might have to bail.

Fingers are crossed for clear skies and a semi-decent freeze Saturday night, though I'm starting to think it's never going to freeze in CO ever again.

Chance for snow fri and sat night, but stuff may get hammered tonight with rain.

Looks like ABasin is calling it a season Sunday...a bit surprised considering the late snowpack - thought they'd stay open at least another week. Are people just not showing up?

Great day up on Grizzly yesterday. Full bluebird. Chundery, but still fun. Really diggin the Atomic Backland boots. Can charge almost full bore in em. Anyone know of some steep lines that are still clean? Seems like there's lots of chunder out there, everywhere.

My garden is going to love the sun and heat, I just hope the rain comes back before I have to turn the sprinklers on. If the monsoons kick in soon I might be able to go a summer without dewinterizing.

Any one been on snow the past couple of days? Is it worthwhile or just a pile of wet, sloppy, sticky, slow , slide-y, slushie?

Skied the last couple of days around Silverton. Just about every couloir is badly runneled. Open faces, however, are skiing great. Clear nights= decent freezes. And no dust! Definitely worthwhile skiing

Had a wicked storm this past Sunday, we were riding our bike with the kiddo back from West Vail and had to take shelter at a bus stop due to all the lightening.

Another good storm this afternoon, crazy heavy rain for 30 min or so....I love it, cools it off at night!
