Very good freeze and creamy corn on Greys Peak on Wed June 3. Good conditions for 14ers.

^^^ crazy last night down in the flat. rare for these kinds of storms to pop up around here, usually form much farther east. stayed up last night sipping whiskey and watching the lightning storm from the porch.

^^^ Yep, that was some of the craziest weather I've seen in the 12 years I've lived here. Super intense rain (harder than the flooding rains from '13), non-stop lightning for 3 hours, funnel clouds, tornadoes, and hail. Sure beats sitting on the couch and watching TV.

Looked crazy up by you guys and just north of downtown all night. Downtown got it pretty good for about an hour around 11pm. The clouds north with the shadows from the lightning looked like something from a movie.

If anyone got damage on their car from the recent hail craziness, I specialize in repairing them. I can get you a written estimate to take to your insurance to make sure you get the full amount owed to you, and I can help with the repairs as well. It might take me a week or so to get freed up, but just let me know.

I'm pretty sure it's chundered from wet slides. I don't have a perfect pic, but this one from Wed. shows it from the side...with lots of debris coming out from it. Click image for larger version.

Dave's Wave was nice yesterday around noon. Skied all the way to the road with a quick wax test over some dirt in one spot. Above treeline was nice, below treeline was patchy ice and mank.
