    Beatles mono box on vinyl.
Just remastered at Abbey road, outrageous quality and cheap at $300 list for 13 records.

Honda element. Maintained properly keep shiny side up it'll last longer than you. Just serviced customers 03 with 443115 on it.
Is this the same one that had 275k or some other ridiculously high number on the original clutch? You mentioned that in one of the many car threads on here and for some reason it's always stuck with me.

Amen. I love em, but have to buy a new pair every year at least.

Now, as for as slippahs go, these last me at least 5-7 years:

Speaking of flip flops, I have a pair of Olukai Hiapos that are now about 6 years old and just getting more comfortable every summer. Some of the best footwear I own.

Yeah, the dude wearing them for 20 years must weigh about 50lbs. I pretty much rock boat shoes year 'round and would destroy the sperry's inside of 6mo. Switched to timberlands a couple years back and they wear much better - i get a year out of a pair - but they come with a shitty fabric footbed that has to be ripped out and replaced with a leather one.

Just got Michelin Defenders for my Forester, but I had to think twice about whether i needed 90,000 mile tires, especially since I have snows for the winter. The tires will probably outlast both me and the Suby. When I reroofed I passed on the 40 year shingles--I definitely won't be reroofing again.

I did the defender thing on my Suby, too. First time I ever took a tire back through Discount Tire's exchange program. Did not throw them through the window granny style, but I opted for the Pirelli P7 Cinturato and am much happier. The Defenders made a humming noise while turning at speed. Hope you don't have the same issue.

ha, that's the flip side of this whole thing - some shit will last way longer than I will, so why pay for it now when something cheaper will probably last long enough?

I should have clarified the use for the Marmon.

Saw a rig like that pull through W2 yesterday headed south on 125. It was quite impressive. I see those 2 tons attached to horse trailers all the time but not usually a fifth wheel.

It looks like that rig would tear apart a 5th wheel!

I can't hear your whining over the sound of the ice clinking in my dark and stormy at the dock.

My suby makes so much noise I can't hear the tires. Plus I usually have the radio blasting and the bird dog on. (credit to Mr. Earle)

If I bought a Honda Element it would definitely be an End-Of-Life purchase.

    Cause I would kill myself.

Low sales overall iirc. They're popular and pretty useful, not a high enough ROI I imagine. Looking at getting one for the gf/BBI l'International 16.

Filson Medium Duffle. Made in USA.

    So whatchu got?
For only $500 you can actually get a decent sized duffel from Fillson or a larger one from North Face for around $100.Neither are likely to wear out in your lifetime.

Blaklader Brawny jacket, seriously heavy duty. Stiff as a boot at first but is breaking in nicely. Makes Carhartt cry themselves to sleep at night.

Hultafors HVK, the ultimate utility knife. Holds an edge very well and doubles as a light duty pry bar. Amazing value at <$20 too.

$300 in today's dollars. Bought them from the man himself. Walter Dyer. 40 some years ago. Maybe I bought them too soon.
