Wednesday fun with TC, MTL and a non mag friend.

Fun times mini golfing yesterday at the best powsurf demo yet even though the snow was less than ideal: https://instagram.com/p/0bqBggDTJs/?...by=vtcoldsmoke

Been riding the wave this week, hoping for a few more big storms

VTCS, i will seriously consider the Powderjet - I need a board that is more maneuverable in woods pow. Looks fun.
Harvey, thanks all the same, they post those notices so late, I get the feeling they only want locals to ever ski those slides :/
Back to cardboard robots, bake sales and such for a bit. Catch youse on da skintrack, eh.

Just saw this ..........Near the Madonna base lodge. I'll have some demos available, take a pair for a rip, just stop by to talk skis or say hi. I'll be there most of the day. Warm temps with maybe some new snow in the morning.

FD thanks for the 2 plank love!

EAST COAST ROLL CALL #8 14/15 A NEW HOPE

Two buds cancelled when the temps remained polar this morning. 5 dozen days so far this season have jaded these guys! I headed out for some kick and glide with Mrs. P instead. Temps got up around 40 to soften the snow nicely.

Just another scary day riding the lifts at Sugarloaf http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=y...&v=Jys_iGDpfw8
Seven injures reported. Maybe as many as fifty? Three taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Scary. When do ya think Boyne will finally do something about their lift problems?

Snowed hard all day. Conditions more than made up for the lift line shit show. It was deep and lonely in the trees.

Epicski ski day at Stowe should be, interesting, tomorrow.

Windchill of -33F.. I thought this was over with.
Hopefully things didn't get too soft today, or everything's gunna be bulletproof.

-also is it snowing tonight or something?

Smuggs was fun. I'm just a sucker for Liftline. Stumbled on a sweet shot around the third pitch. Made my skis feel a bit long. Would love to catch it on a powder day.

Tried out a pair of Vinman's skis for a run. Pleasantly surprised. I stubbornly stick to old school ski design, but these actually felt real nice. No matter what it looks like, I did not hit any rocks .

Here's some chopped up shitty GoPro stuff. At least it feels better than it looks.

Did laps in the slides today: 1, 2b, 3, 4 and back to 2b.

Status was gold. First time I skied them in other than spring conditions, hugely challenging, fun day.

5 Slides laps, Rands and Sugar Valley took the whole day, skied one groomer to get down at 3pm.

Not super fat in there, and vis was for shit up top, props to the mountain for opening the terrain.

Snowed pretty hard on and off all day.

Road that lift a few times Friday. Didn't mention the 2010 incident to the GF when we were there, but after she read about it along with yesterday's issues she was a little freaked out...

Thanks for stopping by and taking a pair out for a rip. If you are around Smuggs again give me a shout and I will set you up with a pair or two for the day to compare.

Bluebird, fast, and edgeable all afternoon at the Sun Mountain. It was worth waiting until after lunch for the wind to die down.
