Nice shot. Good to see you for a few, wish I had caught up with you guys a little earlier for a lap or two before you headed a few peaks away.

I am not a skier but for anyone planning to be around smuggs Sat., do yourself a favor and check out Vinman's demos. Quite possibly the most beautiful skis you will ever lay your eyes on and I am told by multiple sources that they perform as great as they look.

Now wait just a doggone minute - I thought it was all powder all the time on the Dark Side?!

Good of y'all to get out in the cold, wind and less than purrrrfect conditions. It has been very enjoyable being spoiled rotten this Winter but still fun to get back to those character building days.

Was a groomer zooming day with my roomy. Let me try out his MX78s, fun fun ski for today's conditions. Beautiful and cloudless with a biting wind, the sun was key.

Stopped at the Cabot creamery in Waterbury on the way home for the first time. That will be a regular stop for years to come. Basically got my lunch in from the cheese and maple syrup tasting table. Shameless.

I think you way misunderstood him, but you reveled for a second that we weren't skiing pow . Conditions were sweet, so much so that Vinman and I went back today.

Top of the bowls were scoured as to be expected with those winds. Got nice turns in the lines themselves. Then moved to another location that was out of the wind and was top to bottom awesome. It snows more up here just the way it is.

    VTCS in the variable steeps.

Don't worry Bottle you can be envious from your powderless perch, You can build your character while we ski pow

Nice long your today, maybe 4k vert up, with pow turns on every down, including some sweet creek bed skiing and some nice steeps.

Thanks bud! Other than a novelty you may not find the skiing as good as Terrace But you are welcome back anytime! I will get up there though, thats for sure.

And great day Vin, skied some real fun terrain, soft snow depth is considerably less down low, still nice though.

By less down low we mean the crust was just barely palpable at ~1200 ft. Stuff up at 2500-2750 was boot deep and soft. Able to rip turns with confidence with supportive soft snow and no crust.

Been there a few times myself, Waterbury is a dangerous place with all that beer and cheese in close proximity.

Indeed, seconded. Rest legs but mostly clear workload on homefront wait much snow to fall, rinse wash repeat, eh.

^^ danmelon, dig the urban funbooter ♧ do you launch over the fence or stall on it?

I need a new splitty with some rocker.

Just stalling and 180s so far. Passed the fence is a 2 story drop into an alley. Probably a good spot for a redirected wall ride... But maybe save that for next season

    Oh and Biggins:
I keep getting Second Fiddle cravings, I'm hooked. Man it was good! Should have smuggled more over the border. Gotta add +1 to the Waterbury stoke thanks to you.

Whiteface: Slides are open. Silver status, groups of 3.

Realize that's not much notice but you never know.
