Were you the one guiding Sir Paul around Sun Mt. this weekend?

pshaw...Havent you read? Sir Paul is a hack and a shill.
I already had to tell Treat Williams to back off the last sixer of Limbo IPA there one Saturday afternoon and don't get me started on how long it takes Angela Landsbury to order her freakin' tea!
Extended family ski trip to Mt Washington the past five days:

More extended-family trip than extended trip or extensive skiing, but in brief:
1. Cog is skiing super nicely. (Sorry, no pictures on powder days.)
2. Summit is always neat-o, even when the snow above the ravines is sparse:
3. Burt is fat:
4. Boozing is up with the young ladies is always fun (even if they're young enough to think that Burt is Ernie's friend):

First you're skiing with Sir Paul, and now, you're skiing with wings...
Screw the net, Surf the backcountry!
From Hickory's FB page:
DEAR OTHER MOUNTAIN SEASON PASSHOLDERS:
Psssst…we know you’ve heard about us. We know you’re curious to find out what all the buzz is about. We know you’d cheat on your home mountain if we made it worth your while…We won't tell.
This Sunday (March 1st) 2014-2015 season passholders from any ski resort are invited to come experience Hickory. Simply present your pass at the ticket window and get a $30 all day lift ticket. If it's too loud, you're too old
t-t-e, is that Lincoln Brook?
The sad truth is that whine does not age well
JS, thanks for the humour-filled beta. Looks so rad up there!
t-the-east, slide looks pretty sparse high up, just wind-scoured? On the approach the river was crossable it looks like?
Word, time to stop procrastinating on all the things that get pushed to the side when pow season is upon us... and stack the chips for next shred
The second venue in the four-venue NE Rando Race Series is this coming Saturday, February 28: 80th anniversary of the original Thunderbolt race, now the only 100% backcountry rando race in the East.
(I would say something about the snow conditions, but you can figure it out for yourself!)
As of this morning, we already have 87 racers ... three dozen ski patrollers ... many other volunteers ... even more Town emergency responders and LEO ... and probably *hundreds* of spectators!
All the info is here:
http://nerandorace.blogspot.com/2013...bolt-80th.html
... including link for on-line registration up until midnight tonight (Thursday), which will save you $10 (as well as time spent standing around in the cold).
Schedule is our usual bib pick-up starting at 9:00, pre-race briefing at 9:30, mass start at 10:00, ... and awards at an usually late time of 3:15 at the unusual venue of the big Thunderfest outdoor party in town!

sounds like a group of american skiers set of a slide on Mont St-Pierre, one sustained injuries but not life threatening
vibes!
Some gnarly terrain there. Hope everyone is ok.
edit: found this picture of the slide. Category 3 slide; Looks like it was a meathead crew filming and everyone is ok

I'm not sure that 2nd photo is from there? Doesn't look like Mont St-Pierre to me
I did not think so either, but this was a photo linked to the story.
