Fundraiser. One of the Magic bartenders had a kid that passed away recently from an incurable illness and Rusty raised a bunch of money for her with those hats. Pretty cool, and the hats are super warm. I love the old school logo- I want a baselayer with that *cough*hint*cough*

I'd like to interrupt the kumbaya-ing for a second with my latest marketing idea for Magic.

So, I guess I've donated to a few animal shelters over the years and periodically get emails from them. This arrived in my inbox today.

Neuter Your Cat for a Nickel
Do you have a male cat that needs to be neutered? Or perhaps you're feeding a stray that isn't fixed? Bring them to HSNT's Neuter Scooter this Sunday and you can get him fixed for only a nickel!

So I got to thinking. Change for a nickel, neuter for a nickel...similar, no?

So, what if the Magic Marketing Dept, ran a promo one weekend and invited Dr. Bob from Aeolus Animal Hospital by? I know Dr. Bob is a big skier as well. Just a thought.

Here's a thought; why don't you try skiing instead of trying to be funny? You never know, you may find your niche on the slopes.

My niche on the slopes is skiing funnily.

Magic was fucking awesome yesterday, as if you all needed me to tell you.

Cold, dry air kept the snow great. Whether in the woods or railing groomers, fun was had.

    Didn't see Timberridge there... shocker...
Dude, do you even ski? It's time to make an appearance. Even if you are a rental-skiing gaper, quit the anonymous satirical critique and ski with any one of us. You have several ticket offers on the table. If you opt to continue your "from behind the curtain" approach, know that it is growing a bit cliche.

There is no judgement, if that is what you fear. Shit, I suck at skiing, but I still have fun.

Magic was phenomenal today. Picture perfect groomers, woods stuffed with pow. Even timed my timber lap/dog walk to coincide with the lift hiccup.

Skied top to bottom tree runs every run. Skied pow in every run.

One more run to round out the day. Can't way for torchlight!

Wished I could ahve made it up today, had to go into work at 6am to coordinate a very large machine move. Spent 10 hrs there today, all that is left is a bit of plumbing tomorrow and some electrical hookup, the contractors can be left to their own devices there.

    See ya all tomorrow!

Simple O-ring blowout on a hydraulic line. No biggie. I was about 8 chairs from the bottom when it happened...thankfully, it wasn't arctic cold. Awesome day indeed...woods are in all around the mountain.

On a scale from 1-10 I'd give this weekend a fucking googleplex.
