Should be by tomorrow. My club will be open so who knows, maybe both a morning coolie and afternoon golf.

Anyone that fishes interested in an A basin/Blue River double, if it's warm. I fished it on a cold morning recently, and it was great. Sight fishing paradise.

Fossil Trace isn't going to open tomorrow, they said maybe Saturday. Playing Green Valley Ranch tomorrow, $39 to ride. 60* and 18-holes is going to be a nice January mix up.

The discomfort in my anal region is growing. I feel like every model run just shows the ridge getting stronger, not breaking down.

Agreed. Have back to back Steamboat weekends coming up at the end of Jan. Will suck to get skunked on both.

Damn Omega ridge out there turning this into a golf forum. Brutal. Hopefully the snowpack doesn't get too melty (that's a technical term) this week.

2* this morning on the valley floor and 31 now. Beautiful day outside. Groomers were hard and fast this morning. Nothing really to talk about as it's dry for awhile unless something changes. Jan gonna finish with less than a foot for the month?

its kinda looking that way. pretty depressing after a solid start to the season. not sure we can use the term unseasonable any more as it seems like this warm weather in the heart of winter is the new norm.

Went up to Emerald Lake in Rocky today...pretty warm up there too. Saw two groups climbing/skiing Dragon's Tail - were they anyone here?

Pretty sure I know one group. KillingCokes is his TGR name. Almost went out there too, but was craving inbounds laps.

Here you can see one of the groups
...the other group was up higher near the second exposed rock outcrop in the couloir.

1 group was Eli - Climbing Life Guides. They skiied from about 1/2 way. He reported variable conditions from sastrugi to pockets of powder.

Jealous of this. We skied it last weekend on bulletproof. My friend went back and tagged it again on Wednesday and he said it was buttery.

Saw these two on the way out. Somehow I always run into moose in RMNP.

I’ve seen a bunch of moose on the west side of RMNP and Indian Peaks, only seen one on the east side though. Fingers crossed conditions get freshened up through early next week.
Looking forward to some laps tomorrow before shutting it down until baby’s arrival.

The group higher up were a couple of my buddies that work at the mnt shop here in town. They were saying full on spring conditions. I haven't been out since New Year's Day. Wishing I could get out more this month but trying to keep up with a bunch of stuff going at work right now. Trying to kick off construction in 9 weeks on a huge project I'm doing in town here so I've actually not minded the lack of snow so far this month. It's made it easier for me to sit at the desk when I'm not watching snow pile up...

Splitting time between high country and front range this winter, hot damn it's warm in Boulder, anyone getting enduro this week? State of the trails in around boulder?

    Or is that just blasphemy
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

    gmen.
