New Year's Eve party is just a couple days away. You put this on, people will get up and dance, guaranteed:

Don't judge me, I just watched Guardians of the Galaxy.

They each just worked fine for me.

The Monks are / were ultra badass. Full album Black Monk Time:

Check some of the other videos/photos of them from that era, they all have that monk's tonsure hedge trim. Could explain Malkmus's inspiration for Cut Your Hair.

Xgau gave a stinker rating to Black Monk Time, that's high praise in my book. Xgau misses the clue so often with his stoopid marxist-feminist bias that makes him hate every white man but himself.

my first paragraph was meant for "nord" but he deleted his post. just had a couple youtube links, not embedded

ya always liked the monks but only really knew their commercial successes from jr high. only have a couple tunes of theirs now but i'll def check that lp out

hah a different Monks but that's still a good one I remember from late 70s/early 80s

this is good, though mix could stand a bit more guitar presence, bass is good but not at guitar's expense

ok I saw the keyboard/organ and thought they might have grew out the cul de sacs and maybe changed a member. similar genre. I'm guessing they have their own bad habits

could be the same band I guess, but my non-source un-informants tell me they're 2 different ones. either way Double Fuzz was good!

was coming back in a minute with some Dunedin sound - but can't post video. nice job Dunfee.
