Surface Pro 3 - Must-have apps and accessories?

I have both the original and the 3, actually. The original had no problem with a lot of accessories including an external DVD drive, external usb 3 drive docking station, etc. My SP3, and they others here in the organization have trouble with either of those things. The adapter plugs into my Sp3, the extra usb power port on my power supply, and then into the accessory. Works well, just a little clunky.

If you do a little searching you'll see quite a few others who have experienced this same thing.

Didn't know that. I guess when I pick out new devices from here on out, I'll make sure and check the voltage specs on them.
