I know it's a glitch, but it's nice to see this number on the radar:

Won't be long... In other news, Ullrfest stage is officially gone, but reconstituted now as a shed.

Anybody have additional details about the fatal bike crash on Perry Hill? The Freep report was limited. Scary, high consequence bridges on some of those trails.

They took a biker out of there by ambulance a few weeks ago when I was pulling in. This sends a shiver down my spine. Vibes to the community. Damn.

Oof, that is absolutely awful. Vibes, especially to the kids uncle. I'm sure he tried like hell to bring him back. I'm having trouble remembering the bottom of perry hill, it flattens out over there past the big hill, right? Either way, what a loss.

    Just a heads up folks.

A kick ass fest at a kick ass venue. 25 mins from Bennington vt in an amazing modern art museum. Same place as Wilco's Solid sound Fest. If you like bluegrass….not just bluegrass, this is great.

Far too young. Hopefully did not suffer much. May you find eternal fast and flowy trails and titsdeep untracked pow. RIP.

Condolences to family, co-workers and friends.

How'd that slab go ML? I always thought that was such a cool climb but never could convince anyone to do it with me.

Get your shenanigans in before the storm today, sounds like it could get a little crazy out there.

Echo that. I love the style of "see it, climb it". Adventure lives.

The slab was pretty fun, if you ever need an adventure I highly recommend doing ANYTHING in the Adirondacks. It's almost always more than you'd bargained for. And, if you're going to take pictures on the rock make sure that the camera is also attached to you. The new ADK ROCK book is also making its way over now. That I've ever seen anyone climbing in the dacks basically, but it'll be cool to see some new options.

Can't take credit for being that adventurous exactly. GP got me started with beta last summer and has some nice pictures up on his site if you want to see the views from above.

But, there's always a mix of route finding and just getting there that makes this stuff seem pretty adventurous in the moment. My buddies gf got her first lead, too. It was pretty cool!

I caught part of that on a drive home from Boston. First time my phone ever blared with an alert about tornado warnings!

Don't think any tornadoes were ever made official but the warnings were up for a while. I had a blast driving through puddles.

Hey FD, sorry about the delay in response. Took the dog hiking and remembered I never replied. She's really iffy with other dogs. She met a bunch while on the hike and was fine, surprisingly, but around town she has a conflict almost every time. Maybe being out in the woods relaxes her. The east woods (assuming centennial) are close though so let me know.

I would have included some doggy stoke but the new picture upload is fucking retarded.

ML - nice job climbing Mr. Brownstones rock. Good job on your buddies GF first lead. Did she have the pleasure of having a cruise ship audience during the lead? That's one of my main memories of that slab, cruise ships and pleasure boats hanging out waiting for a fall.

Tbatt - is there an address to send clothes for your buddy? Maybe the whitewater outfit can receive packages? Got some stuff ready to go to usps.

Heh, maybe it's old news or we we were there too early trying to beat the storms. I'd almost go back this year anyway. Adk should be getting that insane fall color pretty soon but it's probably worth looking around somewhere else too.
