heh, pretty funneh story from yesterday. Wifey and i wanted to hang at the beach for a coupla hours in the afternoon. We load up the chairs, umbrella, bevies, and lunch. Drive down to find a spot. Holy shitshow! So we're driving south towards the rest when we see some folks leaving. There was no one coming the other way so i ask them if they're leaving and they say yes, so i whip around and there's this rent an rv coming but still a ways off and the dood starts honking. Unfazed we whip into position and wifey gets out to hold spot while the folks were getting ready to pull out. Then the rv guy yells something to my wife and i couldn't hear it and she's pretty badass so i figure it was nothing so he goes around and we do our thing. I then tell her that i was going to ask her what he said but figured she had it covered. Then she told me that she wouldn't have told me anything with that guy there cuz she didn't want me to reach in and rip the guy out of the window by his throat in front of his family. I told her smart thinking cuz you know how i roll, then i get "i know sweetie"

you sound like a mainer to me. youll love the beach with the chicken. i was not much for hanging out down there from about 18 until he was born. easiest place to not have to practice saying no without actually saying no. i let him terrorize the tourist. no matter what beach we are at. he is an alles beach local.

eh i fuckin hate the beach, always have. I only go to surf. Get in, surf, get out. The beach is tolerable with wifey cept when she wants me to swim with her. She dragged me into the 70 degree water yesterday and laughed at me when i told her the water was way too cold without my 4/3.

being so close tho, i'm sure most of our warmer weather days will be spent at the beach. So stoked to play with Ava down there. Maybe she'll wanna ride waves with mommy and daddy .

If ya are gonna be in Wells check the south end of Drakes Island by the jetty. Especially if it is mid tide comin in. Jetty protects it from direct S wind as log as it is not super strong. As tide moves in JLand can set up a sweet bowly right over the cobblestone reef just 50 yards north. Just need to leave by 9am or pay $16 to park. No one else will be out.
