    Yea, school does that.

Translated into English: This demonstrates a high level of technical skiing competence, especially on firm conditions and steep terrain. But puzzling why he ever paid for a FIS license at this level, given that from a competitive viewpoint, they're just middling USSA results, which wouldn't even seem to qualify for any FIS races.
Raced USSA for my first two seasons, spent most of the time training. Raced my freshman year at UNH under a Canadian FIS license (my father is Canadian, which allows me to race as a CAN athlete as well). It is far easier to enter under the Canadian quota in a majority of the US FIS races, which is why I was Canadian that year. Got my points in SG and DH that year to the low 100s, and GS points to 90s. I killed it in training the next year and applied for the US license, had backing from several coaches FIS coaches (KUA, Colby Sawyer, National Ski Academy (in Canada), Alberta Alpine), and got entered into a series of races in Canada that year, primarily GMC Cups (National Championship series, generally single point penalties) and NorAm cups. Fucked up my MCL and meniscus the week before I left, and sat out the rest of the season racing in NH and VT in USSA level races. That is why the one result I have on FIS is a DNS. Anyone with any knowledge of racing knows that you can't just sign up and get into FIS races, especially international competition without serious backing.

Couldn't have gone better. 30s, light wind, not a cloud in the sky. Other than the lower half of the Sherbie being closed, you couldn't ask for more.

Off to do more PT/PT, see ya fuckers later.

So RT3 was in Tuckerman yesterday? Someone should've told the snow rangers. That way, they could've added "accidental discharge" to the lists of hazards in the general advisory.

It certainly would have affected my terrain choices.

Yes, but no computer or phone to answer the many queries - only FB updates. This way he stays one step ahead of the pack

Life lessons: learn how to recognize relevance and irrelevance and distinguish between the two. No one cares that you race. No one cares that you were 'fast' once. No one cares about test scores or grades or which major you picked. Stupid is as stupid does.

Learn how to self arrest. Or just use the blood pressure cuff and stethoscope to tie the ice axe to your arm, repackage the contraption as a weight saving multi-purpose backcuntry solution (tm) and rise to the top with a sales pitch that will finance your whole education (unless you're accepted somewhere).

    Either way.
