I think the industry prefers the "hybrid" nomenclature.

That Alfa looks nothing like a Z8 to my eyes.

The Alfa 4C is the one I find interesting. Very cool ride and semi-affordable too. (~$55K)

There's a 4wd conversion of these tooling around the San Juans. With a manual.

Top gear liked it, although that's a lot of money for a turbo 4 banger with no ac...

A/C is an option in Euroland but Car and Driver thinks it will be standard here. There's no muffler though.

Turbo 4-banger, yeah, but ~240 hp and ~260tq in a ~2600 lb. car should be zoomy.

Turbos do a pretty good job of muffling exhaust noise so it may not be as extreme as it sounds. If I remember right, the Neon SRT-4 didn't have a muffler from the factory and it had a reasonable exhaust tone.

The pressure they're putting to the engine is pretty impressive; 21.8 psi. Curious how it will play out for engine longevity.

918 was on top gear tonight, but no lap time and no head to head with the P1 until this summer. Somewhat disappointed.

They can call em what they want, but at least in the case of the porsche there's a dial on the steering wheel that allow you to switch between all electric, hybrid, or all gas. Hence a mutant.

Love the looks of the Speedster from the rear. The front is meh.

Haven't seen one in person, but in some pics it looks pretty good, the fenders are good at least. That hump in the hood isn't working though. The grille/nose/whatever is kinda odd too.

Not sure you'll see too many. The car is made by a tiny outfit in England, and not by Jaguar itself. It runs about $750K. Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson said it was the only car he has truly ever really wanted - bit of British homerism acknowledged on the show.

Just saw the Disco Volante on Top Gear... Looks ridiculous with the narrow front stance and enormous gap at the front wheels.
