some folk call it an ipod. i call it a stfu!!!!
Not a quote, but heard quite a racket while walking into work today. Jeep Grand Cherokee turns into the parking lot with 2 boards on the roof, just sitting under the rack mounting crossbars. As she goes around the corner the boards both slide to the opposite side of the roof and SLAM into each other, and into the side of the rack mounting crossbars. Pulls into a spot, gets out, wearing her boots already (albeit, still 45 minutes from the hill). She looks at the boards sitting on/sliding around on the roof, and does what's only logical.... She takes ONE of the two boards off of the roof, puts it in the back seat, and drives off with the other board still sliding around on the roof. Pretty sure she had no idea there was a difference between a rack, and the crossbars...
today i overheard some passerbys while waiting for the dirtbag bus to the free lot @ breckenridge:
"Hey Tony, I think I figured it out. When you're walking you want to UNbuckle the boots."
In search of the elusive artic powder weasel ...
"Skiers shouldn't ski and smoke weed".
who said that?
well, maybe not at the same time (you know, smoking while skiing).

brettnyt ftw for post #1!!!!!!!!!!!
I always thought this was BS and maybe I still do, but I did notice the bumps at both Alta and Deer Valley were nicer / cleaner than the other SLC resorts I skied the same week. Possibly just a coincidence, possibly not.
Inside Edition - there's a thread on it. They did this big expose about smoking weed at Vail and Breck. Pretty funny.
Please. Just stop.
Not hating. Just trying to tell you that snowboard bumps are very different from skier bumps.
Learn to ride and get back to us. You'll see.
Perhaps they are different - I can tell you for sure that they don't necessarily suck, whereas bumps formed by poor skiers and snowboarders suck all the time. I can think of a dozen snowboarders I ski with regularly who don't have any negative impact on the conditions. Maybe you don't have any good skiers or snowboarders where you ski and you don't know the difference?
Guess I never payed attention to what boarders do to the bumps?
As far as trees I like the luge tracks in the trees, and that's gotta be from boarders. So maybe I like boarder bumps too?
Before boarders, tele was a thing, and people thought they screwed the bumps up too.
Easy there Captain Retardo... I already know how to snowboard... No very well mind you, and I'm sure my technique would fuck up any fresh snow and leave behind truly dastardly bumps. I get that you think all snowboarders fuck up bumps, but you're wrong. Perhaps the real issue is that you don't know how to ski bumps, and so you project your failure onto the snowboarding population?
Can we stop arguing about bumps? I mean who cares? Avoid them and find freshies.
On second thought ski those shitty snowboarder bumps and leave the freshies for me
^ both of you post videos sking/snowboarding bumps. With a full technique analysis we can get to the bottom of this.
