Hey dickfaces, before us retarded snowboarders brought parks to your mountain there was no such thing as slopestyle, or half pipes and parks. I was sliding wood rails when AKPM was a zygote. Getting to said snowboard only parks while Columbia wearing dildos were spitting on me from the lift because they felt we were so much fucking cooler than them and ruled the terrain their kids couldn't handle. Bonking barrels, making wood jumps, sliding logs, gap jumping roads, etc. Yeah, shitty snowboarders suck for sitting on the trail and sideslipping good snow of the run, but skiing today would be NOTHING without snowboarding of the nineties. Suck it haters, you're a product of everything you hate.

And AKPM is a product of cheeseburgers and jealousy. Fuck dude, that shit must blow.

oh nostalgia for the "old" days, the equipment was shit, the pipes were shittyer, and it looked even more like ballet than today. At least corked spins look better than figure skate twirls.

Ok, first off its 2014, that shit about "skiers would be lost without snowboarders" and still be skiing like steins if not for boarders, is played out....maybe true, maybe not. Id like to think tech and manufacturing would have figured it out eventually.

I don't know how the skiers feel about the pipe.... but i know I enjoy watching them more so then watching gay trays in the stunt ditch, the boarders lack amplitude, difficulty, and style compared to skiers. The pipe skiers have basically shown up the boarders in their own specialty.

fuck ya me too. ragged mtn NH 91-92 on a Burton Craig Kelly air, sorels, and a good concussion once I figured out how to go straight. picked it up again in '96-97' for about three seasons, back when skis were still straight and skiing was lame as dog shit. I talked a lot of trash about skiing....heh

then shaped skis came out, and i never looked back (only make sure there wasn't some out of control teenage snowboarder about to run into me)
