SR was real good for my first day of the season. Took a bit to get balanced-up on my toes and then falling in the back seat-but when it kicked in and I started skiing with my feet it was sweet.

Tough Drive up in the am, but was ridding lifts at 9:00 and skied to 3:40. Spent the afternoon lapping T72 for lap after lap of fresh powder down skiers left of the super pipe Ventured in to the trees one time, but 0 base made it unsafe. A few runs with a good grass cover were ok. Good times.

Poking in and out of the trees alongside of White Heat didn't suck. Locke Line > Crossbow > Tightwire wasn't bad either.

Skied great this morning.. not a whole lot open, but faceshots a-plenty once you got off the beaten track. Eased in and out of the woods a little and coverage is coming along, 1 or 2 more good storm cycles and everything should be in.

I wouldn't go off trail even with THE COCK'S skis with this little of a base. happy to ski groomers till more snow comes or I can get up on George. glad you had a great morning. gonna try to surf at 1st light then head up to ski from around 11-330.

Skied a lot of woods. Lines got skied off quickly. First run Dow everglade was bliss, second, meh. 2" of dandelion fluff has fallen tonight, 3"+ at the pass.

Big K was good all weekend Sat fast and cold Sunday boot deep and some nice light first tracks Joeys only bother you if you let them. The new owners have changed things for the better. They have the longest season don't hassle you under the ropes unless your a dick and you can skin all day. I hate to say it cause I love MRG but lift tickets go up for the same 3 snow guns and long lines

Technically posted, and I wouldn't be surprised if you got outed from there by some rent-a-cops. That being said, good 9-10" 20min north. Of course, unless someone mowed those trails in the fall (unlikely), a foot ain't gonna get it done

Ascutney looked white and empty from the top of K on Saturday.

14.7` and sunny bob with a little breeze.

Memories of a day well spent

6' of snow between 12/11-12/15/13 on the Tug Hill is a good way to get started.

py video but deep, surfing right over big downed trees and boulders.

^teleturn ftw! I found myself at pico with wind delays up top until noon. Skinned around highly variable conditions with some places blown dry and others left with 2' of super dense chalky spiny fun. Started the season off right, skiing the first lap of the year in walk mode. fm. Lifts started spinning and joey smartly made chop of the remaining goods. Got out to catch the 4th quarter of the gostowski show.

DoWork...you're PMs are full. Appreciate the response. Had a buddy who was out in the catskills and unaccounted for at 8pm. Ended up okay but haven't gotten the story yet.

Got the youngest new boots that have nice replaceable soles and walk mode. Pretty stoked as they're a nice compromise for skinning and alpine. I like the technology advancements the industry is making.

To the troll - nice try but you are not funny...at all. So stfu now and go away or grow balls and use your real username.

Man... not nearly the level of stoke i was hoping to see today. You guys all got out and hit it, I hope! Where are teh pics? OF course, kudos to those of you who did share stoke. MUCH APPRECIATED> but was hoping more would chime in.

As for me? Why don't i contributed? I went ice climbing. Seems i screwed up my system (climb when dry, ski when it snows). Wrong forum for those pics...

    edited for page top tunes

I demoed the TECH TALK JONG! pro model this spring and their performance was unparalleled which is good because I ski in a wedge most of the time - bendtheski, 2011
