Snowboarder is a teenager that was punched in the head by an adult. He left the scene because he was scared and didn't know what was going to happen next. You can hear the snowboarder in the video repeatedly ask the kid if he is okay. This was the fault of the father. He stopped in the middle of a high traffic run, just below a blind roller, and allowed his kid to ski out without checking uphill. Not sure how this video is any proof that Go-Pros should be banned - if anything they're that much more valuable in documenting what occurred.

I'd be very upset if my kid was hit on the hill, but if it is my fault because I'm not watching my child and not teaching him to ski safely, I'm going to be upset with myself.

where im from when you call a quad a bike its a solid axle sport quad, 450r, lt250r, banshee and the like. a quad is a heavy worthless 4x4 atv.

Boarder's fault. If he has to balance himself on the grom at 4:16 (look at the shadow) to slow himself down he is not in control of his speed.

Most common excuse I hear as a Patroller, a gaper qoute of its own is: "I didn't know he was going to turn/stop/fall in front of me!"

A close second is "I didn't know that run (with the closed sign/fence/ribbon/snow making equipment/220 VAC/rocks/tree stumps) wasn't open!"

I had the misfortune of riding the lift with a ski instructor today.

Douche Instructor: You could ski those things down the mountain sideways today!

I mean split boarding is cool and all but why on earth would you use skis in the resort where you don't have to do anything but go down and a snowboard in the BC where you have to turn your snowboard into skis to get anywhere? Maybe I thought this was funny just because of my wanting efficiency in all things.

Riding the gondola with one friend and randoms, made some sort of comment about gapers....people mentioned they had heard the term online before, and wondered what it meant, so I very politely and with a lack of irony explained it to them.....
