I'd like to get in line on the Lucky Bums as well, let me know if you have a pair to ditch, little guy isnt even 2 yet, so I think they would be a good introduction.

    Thanks!

Looking to get my kiddos geared up for the winter with downhill and/or nordic gear. I have a 7 year old and a 5 year old, we're all pretty new to skiing. I did a bit of skiing as a kid but not much since, both kids have a bit of experience with downhill but not a ton. TIA!

    Girls boots (15.5, 18.5), skis (80, 30 & 110), Lucky Bums harness

Have some used girls' gear that's eating up valuable gear room space. First, boots. Nearly new Nordica Super N01 in 18.5 (221 BSL). Skied a couple of days before learning she's more of a Rossi last kinda girl. $35.

Next, a pair of Rossignol R18's in 15.5. Worn a couple of seasons but also in really good shape. $25 SOLD

Also have a pair of Rossignol Princess skis, 80cm. Five seasons across two kids and have lots of wear but still more than capable of making pizzas down greens. Bases show signs of minor extrusion from overzealous binder mount by shitty tech (me). $10 AND/OR beer for local pickup. SOLD

Rossi Princess skis in 93cm with binders (three seasons, thinking $25 for skis + $25 for binders = $50; prefer not to separate). Skied three seasons and in good shape both topskin and base. SOLD

And last, Roxy Sweethearts in 110cm. Currently mounted with Rossi Comp binders on the line for a 269 bsl. Skied 10 days last year. $65, including bindings.

Also have a Lucky Bums harness nearly new. My girls just did not respond well to it at all and thus it sits, forlorn, in a dark corner of the closet. It needs a new kid. $10.

Would prefer local exchange (live in Denver, work in Boulder); buyer pays shipping. Really want to get rid of this stuff to fund this season's gear, so make me an offer.

Looking for rockered pow skis in the 140-150 range, 100+ waist. Volkl Shiro Jr, K2 Bad Apple, Line EP Pro/SFB Shorty, Moment Kietzke/Zephyr, Surface Next Life, etc.. Not interested in Gotama Jr or other 80-90mm "pow" skis (have plenty of those already).

FS: Youth Ski Pants and 2 Jackets

FS: Youth Ski Pants and 2 jackets

This post was buried on the regular gear thread so I copied it here thinking there would more interest.

My son grew out of these nifty ski togs which fit him well at age 14. I would really like to be able to ship all three in one box.
Is $90. reasonable? Make an offer. All the nephews are grown and these should not end up at Goodwill.

North Face Freedom Pant, sz:YouthXL 18/20, 29.5"-30.5" waist.
Hyvent fabric, lightly insulated, 2 small edge nicks repaired with seamgrip.

Marmot Softshell, sz: YouthXL 14/16. Lined with midweight polyester, athletic fit.

Columbia Titanium Shell, sz:Youth 14/16. Omni Tech(waterproof breathable), attached hood. Good spring jacket.

Evo just dropped the price on last year's Shiro Jr to under $190, but I think that the shortest length is 153.

edit: teledad gets the Shiro Jrs

Anyone looking for an entry-level park ski, soon I'll have '11 K2 Press in 159 flat, drilled once (Rossi Axial 2) and good condition/no structural issues after three seasons of my other son's learner-->not-very-aggressive jibbing. Photos to come but I'll say $60 + shipping if you're not reasonably local to MA North Shore. Preference goes to locals bearing Heady Topper in lieu of cash ...

mattie411, I am in the same boat. I have been watching ebay and am amazed how much little skis go for. I ended up buying these. They have the scales for walking in lift lines, are in good shape, and shipped fast for free. They have a few pairs left. Nordy 14s are the holy grail of little boots.

yah I just had a bidding war for some roxy 67's and lost out at $92.00 there is a play it again sports i just talked to that have six pairs, still all around $100. Only saw one pair of nordy 14s ended up getting her a pair of 15's. i figured the toe length wont make a huge difference as long as she cant pull her feet out. I got my little guy a new pair of roces boots which adjust from size 16-18.5 which i though was a brilliant idea, very nice and well made as well. keeping my eyes open for some pink 67's

Tahoe folks looking for small stuff should check out Sports Exchange in Truckee. Several 80, 90, 100cm skis there. $65-100 with binders.

Need jacket and pants for a skinny 13yo. Hit a growth spurt out of his old stuff right after all the swaps. He's still fairly small so size 12-14 should be good.
