Best place in the burbs is Summit Ski Shop. They're in Framingham on RT 9 eastbound side. You have to head out to Edgehill Rd., then loop back. Great shop and worth the trip. Best place for tunes/grinds, etc.

I can second these guys. Good shop. I used them last year, and they did a great job - no issues.

I can tell you why there hasn't been a report. they can't see anything and haven't for days. looks like another .30" (3+ inches o snow maybe) of frozen precip since this am's report. west winds hovering 50-60=ideal wind loading. giddeeeup!!!

once there's room to ride, there will be room for slides. once the skies clear, we'll see a report. i'm planning on walking up on sunday depending on totals and later week temps. sharp pointy things will be brought along to get around in an around the low tide steeps

LOL. They're having an identity crisis. Seems two different schools of thought are pulling in opposite directions lately. Some West Bowl expansion would be nice. Stateside is going to be a shit show this year.

    Can You? I can!

I, like teh Weasels', got a late start. Knowing Chute ect. would be tracked I wisely went for the double[way less arduous for us old folk] and found some solitude in the hills

Slalom hill was holding the goods

Left my mark for all to see

    Point for Bucket

Get it before the wind does, biking on the weekend.

Reports now coming in from Jay Peak crew. Pay no attention if you like your jobs.

Sugarloaf fired 'em up today. Targeted opening day is 11/22, but although there's no official word, I wouldn't be surprised if they opened this weekend.

Cosmic hi 5's for those pix and "arousing dump" video. Arousing dump is a little disturbing.

Anyone else stoked to see gas prices dropping towards $3/gal just in time for ski season? 9 hours one way adds up over a season.

Rallied over to Stowe from N. Conway today. Surprised at how legitimately good the skiing was - not just "good for November" but actually good. Heavy but reasonably dry. Stuck to mellow stuff and didn't hit anything. Not a single rock. Never been to Stowe before but I think it was over towards the Gondola. Snow totals seem to have been exaggerated a bit as they usually are, but there is still a lot of snow up there for this time of the year

Skiing moderate terrain in flat light alone doesn't make for exciting pics, especially when you're a shitty photographer, but you get the idea. No idea who the skier is, just some dude that cruised by while the camera was out.

Way to get after it man! Next time you make that trip, PM me and I'll give you some better beta. All the guys in the shop this morning were tearing up Liftline and Nosedive - there's a bunch more snow on the quad side.

Double yes. It snowed all day at our house, and we are only at 800 feet. My husband got home from work (St. Albans) and said, "Holy shit! Look at all the snow we've got here!" He had no idea...thought I was BS'ing him when I emailed him earlier in the day.
