If you guys enjoy striper fishing and haven't read it, I highly recommend David DiBenedetto's book, On the Run, An Angler's Journey Down the Striper Coast It's a great read. His adventure starts in Montauk....

edit: Photobucket sucks. The color was dulled significantly when uploaded to photobucket rather than facebook.

Speaking of clouds - we've been having quite the inversion lately, with sunny skies above and a low hanging cloud over town. I tried to get above the clouds over work today, but realized I didn't have enough gas, so I stopped right in the thick of things. It made for some pretty eerie scenes, though I don't think I quite captured it with my camera.

Another from our ongoing inversion - this time from above the clouds.

3 shots, photoshopped. 1 empty plate, one with me standing in frame with shadow, then I stepped out of my shoes and took a third with just the empty shoes. This is a combination of the three. All locked off tripod with a wireless trigger.

Nice. Do you need the third frame? My guess was shoes only, and one with you in it.

No, you don't need it. The other one I did I didn't use the empty plate, but this one I did because I like the clouds better in it. I could have gone with just two. but as a video person you always shoot a blank plate so I'm a creature of habit

Lonnie I like that ^. I never get tired of looking at those kinds of leaf shots.
