Saw one dude in a full fuckin' ghillie suit. Another guy was the Cookie Monster.

It is the last weekend of the season for most holiday gapers. they get their 5th day of the season and call it good!

Skiing a side slackcountry section in SunPeaks called "Gills", on the way back to the main runs two Aussies ask me and my friend if we had seen any Gills? My Buddy says " No they are over there, been skiing them all day, great pow there." The Aussie says " No mate, Gills!" Then it dawned on me, they were saying girls, who they were waiting for. Silly Aussie people.

New Year's Day, Jackson Hole Tram, bright and early. It's 3F at the summit and windy. A gentleman on the tram is reeking of the previous night's merriment. He's wearing a baseball cap, glasses (no goggles), and clutching his rental skis. He loudly says to everyone within earshot that:

1. He is from Florida
2. He enjoys blue groomers, and wants to how to get to one from the top of the tram
3. "Is Corbett's open? How do I get there?"

Cue general facepalming.

I'm still not sure if he was the Übergaper or just there to provide entertainment.

BTW, yes I felt like a huge gaper skiing Telluride's 20" base while Mammoth was getting hammered. I hate the holidays
