The Loaf is calling for 7-11 today and 3-7 tonight but pretty wet stuff and high winds. Day tripping tomorrow is looking less and less likely but final decision this afternoon. Looking for a co-pilot and motivation for the trek. Give a shout if interested.

Teeter/totter with the precip. One minute rain, next snow. 34.5` at my place.

Here's a pic of ML yesterday on an open SMaking trail, note the "base built" Even though K was blowing last night, guns have been silent here as of dawn yesterday.

Lots of snow is mixing back in now. The weather and forecasts have been changing hourly. Pretty crazy stuff, I really hope this storm is a net gain for the ski industry and Vermont, both of which need snow to drive tourism over the next two weeks to continue employing people.

Edit to add: Vtf beat me to it. And thanks for the shot! That section on the other aide of the guns was pretty awesome all day.

Thanks to all who came to the mini, I had a great time skiing under the "Guns of Navarone" nice to be on dry SM trails [when natural depths are slight] with 6-10' of depth.

Got some nice runs off the top w/ ML and Bucket

Spun the squirrel wheel of Superstar for a couple of hours with Falldise/crew, Dowwork, Esales09, Bucket, Vtski, Moustasche guy and others

    Falldise turning

    J**** airing out

    Non Mag Friends o dise

    J****

    Falldise

It was tough to shoot due to white out conditions and low light, we moved to the lower snow side of the trail to use the grass as "pine boughs to see the ground, but I think you get it

Saw this on the rack and on a box going by overhead though no on snow action

G-Man giving a hearty thumbs up to this steezy newschooler with the sweats, hoody and sunnies combo, looks like fun!

I'll be putting together some more of these get togethers over the winter and lets get going on a full summit sometime in Febuary.

    more in depth answer:

just talked to my buddy. shitty drive from da riv. good snow, kinda damp/pasty, not dry pow like riv yesterday, but still good. puking snow, not much wind. 6" of new at opening and snowing maybe 2" an hour. warm 32 degrees.

better than a sharp stick in the eye

    Thoughts?
    - I'm going to Ottawa for Christmas weekend (driving from Boston). Earliest I can leave is Friday after work
    - Thinking of driving to Jay Friday (get there by midnight?), napping in the lot, skiing all day Sat then heading to Ottawa?

I'm in Peru, if it wasn't obvious.

Hey VT-F - is Gman training for AK? I'm not sure which one looks more like a gaper.

    heh,

well if it makes ya feel any better, the skiing was far from epic. more like a festive ski day. new snow, snowing, happy skiers, and some elbow room.

not a refill day. one and done. then scraps for hours.

woulda preferred another nov 12th 60 degree sunny smooth corn all day repeat, but whatevs
