EDIT #2: CANADIAN SKI PORN ON PAGE 2!!!!

Just thought I'd share some photos from this past week of ski touring around WA, especially for people who don't check out the PNW thread. I wrapped up finals week on the 7th, followed shortly by a failed climbing trip. Then it was game on for skiing. Started up in NE Washington, then hit the cascades all over, including Baker, Crystal and Alpental areas. It was great getting back over to the cascades after spending the last three months in Spokane. Thanks to all my ski partners from this past week, both new and old and the people I met out there. More to come for the rest of this month...

Added some more photos of recent touring down below...

Sherman Pass with Kyle...great tree skiing

    Good powder

Then drove across the state and met up with my good friend Eric

If you look closely you can see Pete, the rippin tele skier enjoying his turns

    Our turn..

    Second lap

Third and final, still deep and untracked

Then off to the South Central cascades of Crystal

Then my old stomping ground in the Alpental Valley, nice to meet and ski with you Joe and David

Hope you all enjoyed the photo overload...I'll be back at it tomorrow. Stay safe and enjoy winter.

Thanks for the words all. We've been lucky up here in the PNW with good snow and weather lately.

heres some more from the past week or so

battled the wind and snow at lookout pass

which set the next day up for some great skiing and (surprisingly) weather too!

then i came back to the cascades, where we had several days in the trees

and a big day in the alpine

    Boom. Now off to Canada.

Great shots man, keep'em coming. You're doing it correctly!

Good skiing with you guys, Kevin. Here are a few more shots from the Slot a while back. Colchuck looked nice, glad to see you enjoyed that break in the clouds. Have fun in Canada!

    STOKE !!!

we need more of this around here.
the number of TR's seems to be dwindling.

    Thanks for the stoke, Kevin!

I'm happy I decided not to join you for that 12-hour Xmas Eve sufferthon. Colchuck is orders of magnitude burlier than what I had in mind.

haha Zak one of these days you'll WANT to do a 12 hour sufferthon!

All the photos, with the exception of Joe's, were indeed shot with a panasonic handheld. hopefully should have lots more stories and photos after the first of the new year...
