On the fence for the mini, as I too am jobless so gas money and lift tix have to be optimized to the right "km drived/cm of POW ratio." If I can get a wingman to head down to K-town, I do have one of those 2for1s printed out, would be one day only, either Sat or Sun,

So, we shall see. In other news, it just snowed a random inch and a tinch out there and all is blanketed in white.

Hey now... that deal is rivaling my search for a Santa Suit for Bolton Santa Skis Free day on Sunday. Been a while since I skied the Pike. Hmmmmmm.

Only surfing I have done was on the salsa brava break in puerto viejo, Costa Rica. I really dug it, even getting slammed into the surf several times. Might have to venture down your way for a lesson.

    nice montauck sequence! gettin pitted!

little bit o stoke from Bromo last night.. little bit of a surprize blizzard made things nice and edge-able not to mention aesthetic

snow-globe visuals in the lights? left sides of the trails were mashable mix of man-made / natural titties!? gettin the first tele-burn of the season? i'll take it

spent some time in Nica 5 or 6 years ago. San Juan del Sur is a cool town with great breaks nearby, heard it's a bit busier now. Friends say Popoyo is a must

TWD - Sorry to hear about the job loss, way too much of that going around lately, best of luck in your search. Ideally, you get to spend the down time enjoying some much improved conditions...next week is starting to look interesting.

Thanks for the kind offers, VT-Free... I may take you up on the reference, but probably staying local to the Mansfield region until I can figure out some sort of employment. The Bulliet is making me reconsider though.

Was up on the hill for some afternoon coral reefer skiing yesterday. Gotta say, Smugglers' Alley is pretty scary when it's boilerplate bumps and you're on dull-edged powder skis. At least it makes for some some good survival/adventure skiing...
